She has learned to communicate through simple hand signals and understands gestures for “come here,” “go,” and “sit.” She’s a smart girl who has adapted wonderfully to navigating the world in her own special way. Cleo is a calm, low-energy sweetheart who absolutely loves attention, pets, and spending time with her people. She also enjoys going for walks and then relaxing nearby. She tends to keep to herself around other animals and doesn’t really seek interaction with them. What Cleo truly loves is human companionship and having someone who will give her plenty of affection. Cleo does have chronic allergies, so she will need a family willing to continue giving her the care she needs. This is Millie. Unfortunately, we desperately need to find a new home for her. She has bitten my mother in the past but she will only bite when trying to brush her butt. She does not work well with cats. We have another dog that she is very good with. I believe she needs a home where she will be kept busy. She has separation anxiety and gets restless if she can’t be with her person. I think if she has a home with a lot of space and stuff to keep her busy, she will thrive. My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys...I love chew toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kiddy pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one. Trinity came to us from East Texas after being surrendered with her puppies. She was a devoted young mom, but now that her pups are grown, it’s finally her turn to experience life as the carefree dog she never got to be. Trinity is a shy girl at first and usually needs about a day to feel safe. Once she decides you’re her person, she becomes a total velcro companion — the kind who melts into your shoulder for maximum snuggle contact. She is affectionate, loyal, and deeply connected to the humans she trusts. She loves running and playing with other dogs and thrives with a canine buddy. After proper introductions, she’ll happily zoom, wrestle, and explore with a friend. A home with another playful dog is ideal for her. Trinity is still unsure about men and may be fearful of them in the home. She also has the natural Aussie herding instinct, so fast movements and loud noises can overwhelm her. Because of this, a calm home without small children is best. She’s doing well with potty training but still needs an adopter who can supervise her indoors and continue reinforcing that outside is where potty happens. On leash, she’s great — a little nervous in new places, but she’s attended adoption events and handled pets and attention beautifully. Trinity is ready for a patient, gentle adopter who can give her time to settle, a dog friend to play with, and a quiet home where she can blossom into the loving, snuggly companion she truly is.

🤠 Meet Cowboy! 🐾 20 lbs | Born June 2026 | Deaf Double Merle Aussie This boy is alllllll puppy! 💛 Cowboy is an adventurous, goofy, affectionate little guy who is always ready to play, explore, or convince you it's time for another snack. He loves his bones and pig ears, enjoys a good adventure, and brings plenty of enthusiasm to whatever the day has planned. Cowboy walks well on a leash, plays appropriately with other dogs, and absolutely loves kids. He's still learning that not every human is ready for full-speed puppy enthusiasm, though, so little ones will need supervision while he works on his manners. 😂 Cowboy is a double merle, which means he inherited two copies of the merle gene, one from each parent. This gene affects how pigment develops, often leaving double merle Aussies with mostly white coats and pink skin. Unfortunately, pigment also plays an important role in the development of the inner ear and eyes, which is why double merles can be born deaf, have vision impairments (some totally blind), or both. Cowboy is deaf with some vision impairment, but that doesn't stop him from being his curious, confident, adventure-loving self! He's already picking up on hand signals and does a great job making eye contact with his people to figure out what's next. This clever boy is learning how to communicate with the humans around him, and he's ready to keep learning. Cowboy is still working on potty training and settling comfortably in his crate, so he'll need a family prepared to provide patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Because he's deaf, Cowboy needs an experienced Texas adopter who understands visual communication, safe handling, and the importance of keeping a deaf dog secure. He'll thrive with someone willing to keep teaching him and help him navigate the world with confidence. Cowboy isn't broken, and he doesn't need to be fixed. Blue is a 7-ish-year-old double merle Australian Shepherd with a big heart, a slightly wobbly sense of direction, and a very sweet personality. Around here, we call him Dopey, because between being completely deaf, slightly vision impaired, and occasionally tripping over his own paws, he has a pretty impressive talent for getting himself into harmless little predicaments. 😂 He may not always know exactly where he's going, but he is figuring out that life can be pretty wonderful along the way. Blue has come so incredibly far in the three months he's been in foster care. When he first arrived, he was much less confident and needed the world to move slowly around him. Today, he's significantly more comfortable in his surroundings and much more confident in himself. Because he's deaf and vision impaired, Blue needs some patience when entering a new home. It takes him about two weeks to learn a routine and really settle in. Once he understands how things work, though, he does so much better. A predictable routine helps him feel safe, and giving him time to figure things out is key. And once he's comfortable? He's a sweetheart. Blue is fantastic with dogs and cats. He can take some time to warm up to new friends, but he has shown us that he genuinely enjoys having other animals around. He's also very much a professional couch potato. If there's a comfortable couch and a quiet place to nap, Dopey is pretty sure he's found his dream home. Blue has sensitive skin and needs a weekly bath, but this is one chore he actually looks forward to. Every Saturday, he brings me his shampoo because bath day is our thing. Yes, you read that correctly: this dog voluntarily brings me his own shampoo. He's also been working hard on his resource guarding. It's something his foster family is actively working on with him, and his future family will need to be committed to continuing that work with patience, consistency, management, and positive training. And Blue is officially a heartworm treatment graduate. He completed his treatment like an absolute boss. Blue isn't looking for someone who expects him to be perfect right away. He's looking for someone who understands that sometimes the best things take a little time. Blue has spent the last three months learning how to trust the world. Now he's ready to find the person who will help him feel at home in it. 💙
