Story
Maple came to Humane Tomorrow when she was only one week old, along with her Mom and nine littermates. She is now 10 weeks old and ready to be adopted! Maple was born without a front left paw, but foster mom says that doesn't slow her down much. She loves to toss her toys up in the air and catch them, and she enjoys running around the backyard. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Maple is super sweet. She will follow foster mom around the house and take naps in her lap. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working on potty training. If you are looking for a running or walking partner, she would love to ride along in a stroller! Maple is a sweet, playful, cuddly puppy that is ready for her forever home. Before you fall in love and apply, please note that Olive will probably weigh around 70 pounds when full grown. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Adelaide is a two year old, 28 lb Australian Shepherd mix. She is gorgeous, and yes, her eyes really are crystal ice blue! She's housebroken and crate trained. She is full of energy and could spend hours playing fetch, and she hasn't met a toy she didn't like. Addy is friendly with other dogs, and she will do best if she has a partner in crime in her adoptive home. Her favorite treats are apples and carrots, and she will howl with excitement when she knows she is about to get some! Adelaide needs a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
G'day mates! My name is Ollie, and I'm four months old and weigh 13 lbs. I will be a perfect medium sized dog when I grow up. No one knows for sure, but I look a lot like an Australian Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix. I was hit by a car and a bone in my pelvis was broken. CRIKEY, that hurt! I've been on crate rest for about two months, and I'm all healed up, but my new people should limit my activity for a couple of months. I can still do some running and playing, just no jumping or rough play quite yet. I love toys, chew treats, and sticks. I'm trying to give up sticks since foster mom says that's not an ideal source of fiber. I would love to have a doggie playmate in my new home, but I have puppy energy and will probably annoy laid-back dogs. I love everyone, but foster mom says no kids under 10 because I still do the puppy mouthing thing. I'll outgrow that habit, and it's easy to distract me with a toy, but it's better to be on the safe side for now. I sleep through the night in my crate, but I tend to bark when left in a crate during the day. I eventually settle down, but no apartments for me since I may annoy the neighbors. Due to my injury, I haven't walked on leash yet, but I'm ready, willing, and able to learn now. C'mon all you Sheilas and Blokes, submit your application to adopt me, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Luke

Australian Shepherd Mutt

Male, Adult
Carrollton, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I’m posting on behalf of Luke’s owners, who are seeking to rehome him due to a serious medical diagnosis. They hope to find him a loving, stable home where he can thrive. Luke and his sister Leia (also available) have always been together, and keeping them together would be ideal, though they can be separated if needed. Luke and Leia were found as stray puppies three years ago and adopted directly from me. Luke has since grown up in a loving home, well socialized with people and other dogs. Luke is the calmer, more affectionate sibling. He loves people, enjoys being close to his humans, and is sweet, playful, and gentle. He can be shy with unfamiliar things and is sensitive to storms, but does well with his ThunderShirt (included). He has never shown aggression or biting behavior. Luke rides well in the car and is crate trained, dog-door trained, electronic-collar trained, and professionally trained.

I’m posting on behalf of Leia’s owners, who need to rehome her due to a serious medical diagnosis. They hope to find her a loving, stable home where she can thrive. Leia and her brother Luke (also available) have always been together; keeping them together is preferred but not required. Leia and Luke were found as stray puppies three years ago and adopted directly from me. Leia has grown up in a loving, well-socialized home with people and other dogs. Leia is sweet, playful, and full of personality. She is spunkier than Luke and may take a few days to warm up, but once comfortable her affectionate nature shines. She can be shy with new things but is loving and has never shown biting or aggression. Leia hasn’t been around children but would likely be shy rather than aggressive. Her response to cats is unknown, though she lived near a fence-line cat. Leia rides well in the car and is crate trained, dog-door trained, and e-collar trained. She completed professional training.

Story
Misha has always had one setting: all in. Water is her happy place. Pools, lakes, splash zones, puddles that look vaguely promising. If it glimmers, she is in it. Add a doggie door and she considers life complete. She also loves toys, active play, and any plan that involves movement. After breakfast, she is ready for a trail walk and would happily level up to jogging partner status. If your idea of a good day includes miles under your feet and wind in your hair, Misha is already lacing up her invisible sneakers. She is high energy in the best way, the kind that turns ordinary afternoons into small expeditions. Big and stunning, she draws eyes wherever she goes, but it is her joyful spirit that really lands. Misha does well with cats and wants to play with them, though she can be a bit much. She would do best with kiddos eight and up. She adores little ones, but sometimes forgets she is built like a full sized linebacker wrapped in velvet. She is professionally trained and knows her good girl skills. Like any bright, spirited dog, she benefits from positive reinforcement and consistency to maintain her excellent manners. If your household is ready for love, laughter, and a daily dose of motion, Misha is ready to dive in headfirst. Come meet her and let the adventures begin 💙
