Meet Tex aka Mr. Congenialty! He is a handsome 9 year old Red Merle Australian Shepherd mix. He has to be one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet. He doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He will lay his head on your leg or gladly sit in your lap! At about 60 lbs, he doesn't realize he isn't a lap dog! He loves to be petted and hugged. Tex gets along with other dogs and is cat friendly. He likes to go on walks, hang out in the yard on nice weather days, and throw his toys around. He had some skin allergy issues when he first came to Humane Tomorrow. He is much better now, but he will need to remain on a sensitive skin food (no prescription required and not expensive). Even though Tex is young at heart and full of spunk and personality, he is eligible for our Senior Dog half price adoption fee of $125.
