When we asked Major’s foster mom to describe him her first word was “extrovert.” He is super social and loves people! He is an Australian Shepherd and he’s almost a year old and 45 lbs. Major is super smart however he does like to bark in his kennel when his foster family is at work. We think a family who has someone who works from home or has a stay at home parent would make him extremely happy. Major is housetrained and he’s fine with other dogs however he can be annoying to them if they do not like to play as much as he does! Major is such a beautiful boy so we hope he catches a new family’s eye soon! We know he will be the perfect fit for a family. and we are here to help him find it! Actually they are really from Down South (South TX) but who doesn’t love a beautiful Australian Shepherd and her pups! We were asked to help Sydney and her tiny babies and thankfully one of our super fosters took them in. These “mates” are all grown up now and ready for forever homes! Brisbane-Boy Has a Nub tail n more smooth coat. Double blue eyes. Very energetic, comes running to his foster mom when she calls. All the pups are very social and play with all of the other dogs. Brisbane loves, loves, loves playing in the water whether on the splash pad, chasing the water hose or in the puppy swimming pool! Meet Annie, the sweetest burst of energy you’ll ever bring home. She’s a younger dog who still has "puppy energy," and she loves nothing more than being close to her people and soaking up attention. Annie wrestles and plays beautifully with my dog who's almost six year old Shepard mix, and the two of them are absolutely adorable together. She does have a big play style, so she’s best suited for families with kids seven and up or for adults who appreciate a lively companion. Annie thrives with activity. If you enjoy walks, backyard ball-throwing sessions, or simply having a happy sidekick trotting behind you, she’ll fit right in. When the day winds down, she’s a champion cuddler who loves sleeping on her person’s bed. She’s a little velcro in the sweetest way, always nearby but not overwhelming. Her current family needed to rehome her simply because their older, twelve-year-old dog isn’t up for sharing space anymore and they've gotten into a few scuffles here and there. (She has not done this with her foster sibling.) Annie, has so much love and joy to give, and she’ll flourish in a home that matches her energy and enthusiasm. Potty, crate, and doggie-door trained. My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys. I love chew toys. It feels good on my puppy teeth and I love stuffy toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kitty pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I’ve also got to spend time with some of my foster mom‘s dogs, and I do well with dogs who won’t make me feel intimidated I’ve not been around farm animals and since I want to chase foster mom’s kitties, she doesn’t think cats or farm animals are the best for me. A family with kids and maybe the right dog would be my perfect fit as I don’t like to be left alone for too long, but I do sleep at night now in my crate. It’s really big crate with plenty of space to not feel so isolated and my mom plays music for me and I love it. It helps soothe me when I am too excited. I’m not really bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks although I wouldn’t want to be taken to a firework show. I actually stay calm if I can hear them while inside. I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one.
