Meet Brisbane the Aussie with the Beautiful Baby Blue Eyes! ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS METROPLEX It’s the Aussie family from “Down Under”…. Actually they are really from Down South (South TX) but who doesn’t love a beautiful Australian Shepherd and her pups! We were asked to help Sydney and her tiny babies and thankfully one of our super fosters took them in. These “mates” are all grown up now and ready for forever homes! Brisbane-Boy Has a Nub tail n more smooth coat. Double blue eyes. Very energetic, comes running to his foster mom when she calls. All the pups are very social and play with all of the other dogs. Brisbane loves, loves, loves playing in the water whether on the splash pad, chasing the water hose or in the puppy swimming pool! When he isn't in the water he is grabbing toys from inside the house and taking outside to run around the yard to see if any of the other dogs will chase him, Full of energy and love waiting for his furever home. If you would like to meet Brisbane, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Meet Major ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. When we asked Major’s foster mom to describe him her first word was “extrovert.” He is super social and loves people! He is an Australian Shepherd and he’s almost a year old and 45 lbs. Major is super smart however he does like to bark in his kennel when his foster family is at work. We think a family who has someone who works from home or has a stay at home parent would make him extremely happy. Major is housetrained and he’s fine with other dogs however he can be annoying to them if they do not like to play as much as he does! Major is such a beautiful boy so we hope he catches a new family’s eye soon! We know he will be the perfect fit for a family. and we are here to help him find it! If you would like to meet Major, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Story
Meet Tex aka Mr. Congenialty! He is a handsome 9 year old Red Merle Australian Shepherd mix. He has to be one of the friendliest dogs you will ever meet. He doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He will lay his head on your leg or gladly sit in your lap! At about 60 lbs, he doesn't realize he isn't a lap dog! He loves to be petted and hugged. Tex gets along with other dogs and is cat friendly. He likes to go on walks, hang out in the yard on nice weather days, and throw his toys around. He had some skin allergy issues when he first came to Humane Tomorrow. He is much better now, but he will need to remain on a sensitive skin food (no prescription required and not expensive). Even though Tex is young at heart and full of spunk and personality, he is eligible for our Senior Dog half price adoption fee of $125. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Blue is our sweet anniversary baby, born on our 20th anniversary (Feb 2021). We love him so incredibly much and have enjoyed having him in our lives. Unfortunately, my health has declined to the point where I am no longer able to provide him with the constant activity that he needs as an Aussie. The ideal home will have plenty of land for him to run and play and be very active, because he absolutely will not do well in a small confined space like a small backyard. He is cuddly, loving, and loves being snuggled. We are incredibly sad to see him go, but do not want him to continue to suffer being cooped up in a small home.

Or copy and paste this link into your browser...https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiryThis is the fast way to meeting your new pet.Introducing the handsome and gentle Denver! This sweet boy was adopted from Apollo as a puppy but has found his way back to us after his family had to move into an apartment. Denver is a perfect gentleman indoors—he’s house-trained, doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t, and simply loves to lay next to you, ready to be your faithful buddy. Now, at the age of 9, Denver’s ideal home would feature a structured routine, and he’s eager to work with someone who can help him grow with additional training. He’s incredibly smart and treat-motivated, so training sessions will be both fun and rewarding! Denver already knows some basic commands (sit, shake, down, stay, wait) and loves to show them off—he’s ready to impress you!Denver walks beautifully on a leash and is always up for a stroll. While he may initially be wary of new people, he’s been friendly with all the staff members at our rescue, proving that he has a kind heart deep down. Denver wasn’t around dogs in his previous home, but he’s been doing great with friendly pups at the rescue. We do recommend slow, proper introductions for any new dog companions he may have in his forever home.Denver is longing for a loving family that will appreciate his quiet nature and cuddle-loving ways! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will rest his head on your lap and shower you with affection, Denver could be the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful boy at our rescue facility in Justin, and see for yourself what an amazing addition he could be to your life!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.
