Meet Major ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Puppy Policies: We do not adopt puppies under 6 months of age into apartment homes or homes without a fenced yard. All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. When we asked Major’s foster mom to describe him her first word was “extrovert.” He is super social and loves people! He is an Australian Shepherd and he’s almost a year old and 45 lbs. Major is super smart however he does like to bark in his kennel when his foster family is at work. We think a family who has someone who works from home or has a stay at home parent would make him extremely happy. Major is housetrained and he’s fine with other dogs however he can be annoying to them if they do not like to play as much as he does! Major is such a beautiful boy so we hope he catches a new family’s eye soon! We know he will be the perfect fit for a family. and we are here to help him find it! If you would like to meet Major, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application. Home visits required for all dog adoptions We reserve the right to refuse placement of an animal for any reason

Meet Brisbane the Aussie with the Beautiful Baby Blue Eyes! ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS METROPLEX It’s the Aussie family from “Down Under”…. Actually they are really from Down South (South TX) but who doesn’t love a beautiful Australian Shepherd and her pups! We were asked to help Sydney and her tiny babies and thankfully one of our super fosters took them in. These “mates” are all grown up now and ready for forever homes! Brisbane-Boy Has a Nub tail n more smooth coat. Double blue eyes. Very energetic, comes running to his foster mom when she calls. All the pups are very social and play with all of the other dogs. Brisbane loves, loves, loves playing in the water whether on the splash pad, chasing the water hose or in the puppy swimming pool! When he isn't in the water he is grabbing toys from inside the house and taking outside to run around the yard to see if any of the other dogs will chase him, Full of energy and love waiting for his furever home. Story
Loki is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and take naps. He loves a good walk but can be quite lazy for an Aussie. He loves to play with people and other dogs. He is partially blind in his left eye and requires a little of patience when exploring new areas and people, but once he has a minute to smell his surroundings he is great.

Story
Pegasus is 5 years old and was born on a ranch in Central Texas to one Aussie and one Border Collie parent. He lived his first 4 years in with a family of 4 kids and his brother on a large piece of property. Our move last year has them living in a suburb with a small yard. Pegaus enjoys exploring, playing fetch, and lots of head scratches and cuddles. He is good with kids and is not agressive. He loves people and does jump up on new people he thinks have come to play with him. Barking at squirrels/birds, dogs walking by (we live right behind the walk path), the garbage man and other city things have pushed us to look at rehoming. He is a great dog, but our house and yard are just too small. Because we live in a smaller area, they cannot explore and run free. They have gotten in trouble with the HOA for barking. Pegasus would do so well with more space, but also enjoys being inside with the family. He loves walks and hikes. We want him to live his best life with more space to roam!

Story
Our daughter got this dog as a puppy but was unable to care for him due to her long work hours. He was crated most of the time. She was unable to give him back to the breeder or anyone else. We took him in to try to give him a chance to be a dog but we weren't ready for a puppy. We have an older dog, they get along fine. We just can't keep him any longer. We have tried numerous options but no one will take him. We can no longer have him. He is crate trained, he has had obedience training but we don't have time to work with him. He's current on all shots, eats and drinks well, loves to chew hard toys and run. He is very good on a leash. He's also housebroken. We will include his feeding bowls, several toys, a bed that fits his crate and 1 dose of Bravecto/Nexgard for fleas, ticks and parasites due March 1. His next heartworm shot is due June 1 along with the next Bravecto/Nexgard.
