Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wichita Falls, TX Meet Jolie! She is an 6 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 19 lbs. She is up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t spayed. Jolie is nervous around strangers! She is good with kids and cats! No smaller dogs, due to her reactivity! Jolie wasn’t socialized while in her previous home, so she has some leash reactivity. She is fearful of bigger dogs and will need slow introductions to any dog that she meets. She is housebroken (for the most part and will let you know when she needs to go out) and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering her because she plays too rough with their other dog and her other dog is afraid of her. The owner is also expecting a new baby and won’t be able to provide the time and attention that Jolie needs. She needs to find a new home by 8/25. If you think you can provide a great home for Jolie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Jolie. Owner’s Contact Information: Cassandra cassie.sue.carpenter@gmail.com

Story
2-year-old Ruby is a sweetheart, loves to cuddle and learns quickly. She was adopted from a local shelter. After adopting her, she was having seizures so now she takes medication two times per day for treatment. A family where at least one person can be mostly home with her would be ideal for her new home.

Story
Tex is an 8 year old, 55 lb Australian Shepherd mix. He has the most beautiful red merle coat! He is friendly and loves everyone he meets, and he loves to be hugged and petted. Tex gets along with other dogs and is cat friendly. He likes to go on walks, hang out in the yard on nice weather days, and throw his toys around. He had some skin allergy issues when he first came to Humane Tomorrow. He is much better now, but he will need to remain on a sensitive skin food (no prescription required and not expensive). Even though he's young at heart and full of energy, since he's 8 years old Tex is eligible for our Senior Dog half price adoption fee of $125. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

This sweet boy was adopted from Apollo as a puppy but has found his way back to us after his family had to move into an apartment. Denver is a perfect gentleman indoors—he’s house-trained, doesn’t chew on things he shouldn’t, and simply loves to lay next to you, ready to be your faithful buddy. Now, at the age of 9, Denver’s ideal home would feature a structured routine, and he’s eager to work with someone who can help him grow with additional training. He’s incredibly smart and treat-motivated, so training sessions will be both fun and rewarding! Denver already knows some basic commands (sit, shake, down, stay, wait) and loves to show them off—he’s ready to impress you!Denver walks beautifully on a leash and is always up for a stroll. While he may initially be wary of new people, he’s been friendly with all the staff members at our rescue, proving that he has a kind heart deep down. Denver wasn’t around dogs in his previous home, but he’s been doing great with friendly pups at the rescue. We do recommend slow, proper introductions for any new dog companions he may have in his forever home.Denver is longing for a loving family that will appreciate his quiet nature and cuddle-loving ways! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will rest his head on your lap and shower you with affection, Denver could be the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful boy at our rescue facility in Justin, and see for yourself what an amazing addition he could be to your life!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date on heart-worm and flea/tick preventative, heartworm test which includes tick disease testing (if over 6 months), 24Petwatch microchip with registration, fecal analysis and health check before adoption, and spayed or neutered-if not already, a voucher is provided which will cover the cost. If you are adopting a puppy all puppy vaccines are covered as well.

Story
Hi my name is Willow! I have a very big personality. I need someone that is willing to take their sweet time to get to know me because new people are very VERY scary. Once I get to know you, I am very affectionate! I do have some separation anxiety so I will need to be crated when you leave the house. I would prefer to be the only dog. I am a very good jumper and climber so I need a very tall fence. I know I may come with terms and conditions, but I hope there`s someone out there that knows I am still worthy of a home, I will be the most rewarding baby ever!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry
