Story
Meet Orion, a stellar companion in the making! This 5-year-old Aussie mix is a sweet and well-mannered boy with a mild temperament. He's the whole package, really. House-trained, leash-trained, and up-to-date on his shots, Orion is ready to jump right into your heart and home. Orion is affectionate and playful, always up for a game of fetch or a long walk by the river. He's smart, too, and loves having something to chew on to keep his mind busy. Thunderstorms? Not so much. But who needs storms when you can snuggle up on the couch and watch TV with your new best friend? Orion would do best as the only dog in the home and is looking for a family with kids older than 10. He's hoping to find a family that will give him all the love and attention he deserves. Could that be you? If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to add some sparkle to your life, come and meet Orion today! He's sure to steal your heart.

Story
Maple came to Humane Tomorrow when she was only one week old, along with her Mom and nine littermates. She is now 10 weeks old and ready to be adopted! Maple was born without a front left paw, but foster mom says that doesn't slow her down much. She loves to toss her toys up in the air and catch them, and she enjoys running around the backyard. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Maple is super sweet. She will follow foster mom around the house and take naps in her lap. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working on potty training. If you are looking for a running or walking partner, she would love to ride along in a stroller! Maple is a sweet, playful, cuddly puppy that is ready for her forever home. Before you fall in love and apply, please note that Olive will probably weigh around 70 pounds when full grown. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Belle is a beautiful and charming mini-Aussie and Corgi mix. She's 3 years old and weighs just 16 pounds. This confident, social little girl loves meeting new people and will often greet them by popping up on her hind legs to say Hello. She’s very affectionate and loves to give kisses to her favorite people. Her sweetest moment is her signature “Belle hug” when she gently drapes her neck over yours and melts into you. Belle is the typical play hard, sleep hard kind of dog. She has a playful prey drive and will chase birds, squirrels, and rabbits. She absolutely loves being outside and is convinced that one day she will catch that squirrel! Belle is incredibly athletic and runs like a tiny gazelle. She would love to have a securely fenced yard in her forever home for playtime and fetching the ball. Belle is crate trained and completely house trained. She loves long walks and rides great in the car. Belle is very affectionate, but she can be protective of her food and her favorite people. She would do best in a home with an experienced owner who can continue her training, and provide positive reinforcement and boundaries. Belle would be happiest as the only pet so that she can have all the attention for herself. Story
G'day mates! My name is Ollie, and I'm four months old and weigh 13 lbs. I will be a perfect medium sized dog when I grow up. No one knows for sure, but I look a lot like an Australian Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix. I was hit by a car and a bone in my pelvis was broken. CRIKEY, that hurt! I've been on crate rest for about two months, and I'm all healed up, but my new people should limit my activity for a couple of months. I can still do some running and playing, just no jumping or rough play quite yet. I love toys, chew toys, and sticks. I'm trying to give up sticks since foster mom says that's not an ideal source of fiber. I would love to have a doggie playmate in my new home, but I have puppy energy and will probably annoy laid-back dogs. I love everyone, but foster mom says no kids under 10 because I still do the puppy mouthing thing. I'll outgrow that habit, and it's easy to distract me with a toy, but it's better to be on the safe side for now. I sleep through the night in my crate, but I tend to bark when left in a crate during the day. I eventually settle down, but no apartments for me since I may annoy the neighbors. Due to my injury, I haven't walked on leash yet, but I'm ready, willing, and able to learn now. C'mon all you Sheilas and Blokes, submit your application to adopt me, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Adelaide is a two year old, 28 lb Australian Shepherd mix. She is gorgeous, and yes, her eyes really are crystal ice blue! She's housebroken and crate trained. She is full of energy and could spend hours playing fetch, and she hasn't met a toy she didn't like. Addy is friendly with other dogs, and she will do best if she has a partner in crime in her adoptive home. Her favorite treats are apples and carrots, and she will howl with excitement when she knows she is about to get some! Adelaide needs a home where she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
Hi, I’m DenverI’m a handsome, gentle senior boy with a big heart and the sweetest soul. I was adopted from Apollo as a puppy, and while my family loved me very much, life changes brought me back to the rescue when they had to move into an apartment. Now I’m hoping to find my forever home—one where I can settle in for good.I’m a perfect gentleman indoors. I’m fully house-trained, I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t, and my favorite place to be is right next to you. I love laying close, soaking up affection, and being your quiet, loyal companion.I do best with a structured routine and would love a person who enjoys working with me and helping me continue to learn. I’m very smart and treat-motivated, which makes training fun for both of us! I already know some great commands like sit, shake, down, stay, and wait, and I’m always happy to show off my skills.I’m looking for a calm, loving home that appreciates a sweet senior who loves cuddles, companionship, and peaceful moments together. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will happily rest his head on your lap and fill your home with love, I just might be your guy.Come meet me at Apollo Support & Rescue in Justin—I’d love to meet you.If you are interested in adopting, please copy and paste this link into your browser...https://www.apollosupportandrescue.org/adoptthisdog.html.

Story
Firu is a sweet boy who loves his snuggles and his people. He is a 7 year old border collie mix. We found him on the side of the road in Austin when he was around 11 months old, and we could not locate his previous owners. He can get along with other dogs after a very slow introduction but displays food aggression, so he would be better suited as an only pet. He is extremely food motivated and smart. He can figure out all the lever door handles. He likes to run in the yard and hang out with his people. We are so sad to have to rehome our pup after 7 years, but unfortunately, he needs a family without children as he has bite history when they have gotten in his face. While he can still see, Firu does have some visual impairment especially in low light or dark spaces. He would be great company for a calm, child-free home as he is a people dog that listens well and likes to be in close proximity to his owners.
