Story
Sweet, silly,  Gage was not given much care in his previous life. He came to us underweight, with a lot of hair loss and teeth badly damaged. Since being rescued he is filling out nicely, had a dental and his hair is growing back well. He is a cutie! Gage has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He is feeling soo much better. He is ready for his forever home. Approx 2years old, 36lbs.  Gage is crate trained, potty trained and good with confident dogs on a case by case basis. cats not recommended since he is a herding breed. Gage loves to play fetch and would love to have a big backyard. Very trainable. Would likely do well in dog sports. He also loves a full body cuddle on the couch.  Apply today to meet Gage, herding breed experience preferred but not required.  All adult dogs are given a 2 week trial adoption with potential adopters. To insure its a good fit for pup and people.

Seriously — this girl turns heads everywhere she goes… and then zooms past them because she’s got places to be. 😄 She’s smart, athletic, and READY FOR ACTION, making her an amazing candidate for agility, obedience, hiking, running, or anything that lets her stretch those legs and use that brilliant Aussie brain. Fergie walks beautifully on and off leash, hops into the car like a pro, and is always up for the next adventure — whether that’s a weekend road trip or a quick trip to grab coffee. Fergie is: ✅ House trained ✅ Spayed & up-to-date on vaccines ✅ Great with dogs ✅ Good with kids ✅ Energetic, athletic, and eager to learn ✅ A total superstar with “good dog” energy Cats are currently unknown, but with her smarts and training ability, proper introductions could go a long way. Morning walks? She’s in. Weekend hikes? Absolutely. Road trips? Shotgun. Folding laundry? She’ll supervise. Story
Animal Profile: Maui's ideal home will have a balanced dog that can show him the world isn't such a scary place. A big bonus would be if the dog is willing to play. He has no resource guarding tendencies, and respects when other dogs establish boundaries. He will thrive under strong leadership, with an active family committed to continuing his training. Maui is a goofy young boy who is equal parts klutz and weighted blanket. He is still a little unsure about the world, and we are working on building up his confidence—he has come a long way. He takes his time warming up to strangers, but once he does he will melt onto the ground for belly rubs. He is eager to please, and highly motivated by both food and affection. He doesn't have a lot of body awareness, and will often bump into furniture or people. His exuberance might be a little much for young children, but dog-savvy kids would be ok. He has spent time with a 20 month old toddler, and showed no aggression despite being climbed on and grabbed. His crate is his safe space, and he enjoys retreating there when he's overwhelmed or tired. Maui will be up for as much activity as you would like to take him, and might get some zoomies if not walked sufficiently—two 30 min walks a day would be sufficient. He can be reactive to dogs on leash, but responds well to training so far. He also loves to play with toys—fetch and tug are his favourite games. He is not destructive, and has never had an accident in his time here. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: January 26, 2026, 3:35 pm

Story
Introducing Zeke, a truly remarkable pup whose heartwarming spirit and playful energy are ready to light up a new home. Zeke is a handsome, resilient boy who, through no fault of his own, found himself searching for a new home. He's more than ready to embark on his next chapter, seeking a loving, forever family to call his own. Zeke is a bundle of joyful energy, known for his silliness and ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. While he may start off shy, it doesn't take long for his true personality to shine through. He quickly becomes an enthusiastic playmate who thrives on the company of other dogs and will gleefully encourage them to play. Zeke is a smart and well-mannered companion. He is potty-trained and comfortable in his crate. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "go to your room," and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to train further. While he’s working on managing his excitement (which sometimes results in enthusiastic leaps!), his good intentions are always clear. Walks are a highlight of his day, offering him a chance to explore and burn off some of that youthful energy. His barks will let you know precisely when he needs to go outside or when he hears you approaching the door. If you’re seeking an active, affectionate, and charming dog who promises boundless love and entertainment, Zeke could be the perfect addition to your home. Local adoption fee is $200(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
