Quarry is one of five young Aussie pups we rescued from a puppy mill situation in Eastern WA. Like the others, he suffered porcupine quill injuries—but his were the worst we’ve ever seen. This poor boy even had quills down his throat. When we found him, Quarry was starving, in pain, and desperately pawing at his face to try to escape the agony. It broke our hearts. The good news? He’s been to the vet, the quills are gone, and he’s on the road to recovery. At the rescue kennel, he’s started taking food from our hands (pill pockets are his favorite!). But Quarry is still very shy—understandable after the trauma he’s endured. Now we need your help. Welcome Porsche to CCPAL Rescue. Porsche is an Aussie mix is our best guess. She looks like he is mixed with something small. She is about 8 pounds now and should be medium sized full grown. We think 25-30 full grown. She is very sweet, has good eye contact and has a soft coat and down ears. Her coat is really soft. She is active and the group is vocal but not over the top. A person that does not work all day every day for 5 days a week is the best for a puppy. Someone that can work from home some or has partial days or some days off to spend to help your new puppy acclimate is best. You need time to be with your puppy to socialize them and to finish off their puppy training. Porsche was very easy to handle taking his photos and she wasn’t afraid of new people and liked being held. She sat on the table with confidence while we worked with her. She is getting daily attention and holding at the Rescue. She is getting his DHPP vaccinations and dewormed. She is good in her play group. She is kenneled in the evening and is learning to go potty on a wee pad. She is currently at the CCPAL Rescue in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. **Lucas is currently being fostered in Houston TX but is available for out of state adoption via rescue transport at no added fee to adopters. We offer video chat for you to meet your pup prior to committing to adoption, and have a guaranteed return process for all our dogs** Lucas is your all around adventure pup who loves to run, play, swim, repeat! This dog has a ton of energy and just loves to be right beside his human best friend! He was found as a stray on the streets of Houston TX, where he was rescued by a good Samaritan who made sure he was safe, and vetted. Unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of space and Lucas started to get anxious being in such confined spaces with no way to run. Being the breeds he is, this caused him to mentally deteriorate a little and thus he was brought to us. Lucas has since settled in beautifully now that he has land to run in, friends to play with, toys aplenty and all the water time he could ask for. While he can be a little needy at times, we don't blame him given the confined spaces he endured before being brought here. Anyone who loves to run and was cooped up for as long as he was would be! However, he has really started to thrive with the right environment. Lucas is a very intelligent dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. He picks things up quickly, and is bold and confident in his learning style so it doesn't take much at all. Treats, toys, a good belly rub, all are equal enough to him to work for and he definitely will work for it! He is crate trained, and has done well to introduction to all things home life. He really loves toys, and is constantly looking to play, fetch, run, and seek all the fun things! He also really loves the water, and any chance he gets he is in the pool, which, given how hot the summer has been we don't blame him! He would do great with a family looking for someone to inject energy and life into the home. He is 100% a persons dog, and would do best with someone who has the time and space for him to grow and play. Even though he is a husky, he is a relatively quiet dog who isn't a loud barker, though he will whine if he wants a toy and isn't seeming to get our attention for it. But otherwise, no howling here! Ru is a tri-pawd mini American Sheppard and Australian Sheppard mix. She has been with us for the last 6 years, since she was a puppy and is a part of our family. She is very loving, loyal, and always up for an adventure A year ago, Ru lost her leg due to a freak accident that required amputation. She has recovered fully and loves playing frisbee and ball. She has no clue she used to have 4 legs!Also a year and a half ago, her humans had a baby. The combination of these two things has made Ru a little more anxious - if you know aussies, they are high anxiety dogs as it is - and we just feel we aren’t giving her the attention or life she deserves.Ru would be best suited for a household that has no other dogs (cats are fine) and the family has a lot of time for walks, cuddles, and play. She does really well with children, and with all humans in general. She does not get along with other dogs.

At the time, the shelter's conditions were so severely neglected that many animals were sadly starving to death. Adogs urgently stepped in to save Yeonhwa and bring her to safety. 3⃣ Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: Tends to be shy and fearful. Barks with a bit of caution when a stranger comes into the house. When meeting someone outside or if a passerby approaches, she may give a soft warning growl initially, but has absolutely zero aggression. If you play with her using treats, she will quickly remember you and warm up!
