Heartworm Prevention: 14th of every month Flea and Tick: 14th of every month Luna is a very sweet, friendly and high energy girl! She's a year old and likes lots of exercise. Enjoys going on walks with the volunteers. Likes to sniff and sniff and sniff. Very interested and excited by birds and animals that she sees outside. She is housebroken as long as she's not left for long periods without being able to go outside. Luna would be a great fit for a household with adults or teenage children. She's not good with cats. She's coming out of her shell since being here with us and is enjoying herself more and more! Luna has had some professional training and did well. She is very smart & active! PA 1137

Story
Sandy is a senior girl who hasn’t had the best luck in life but she’s on her way to a brighter future now! Estimated to be between 6-8 years old she was likely bred multiple times before being dumped in North Carolina. Now, with that awful situation behind her she’s happy to just relax with her humans and get gentle pets. She’s still learning not to potty in the house and what a leash is but she deserves the chance! For more pictures and video of Sandy follow k_mott_mott on Instagram Dog friendly   Older kids only please    Getting spayed & microchipped on Tuesday 11/12! ##2222577##

Story
Ross is a loving beagle/hound mix with lots of energy looking for a good home and someone who is compatible with him. He is a very smart dog and has lots of energy, making time outside very important. He loves to run around in the yard and get his energy out. Ross also enjoys sharing his friendly nature with his human companions, and is not afraid to jump up and give you a hug and a kiss. He has had challenges in the past guarding his toys and being a bit aggressive around food. Ross would benefit greatly from a patient and aware owner. He is fine with other dogs as long as toys and food are kept separate. Ultimately, Ross is a happy go lucky guy, and he deserves the best home! How can you not smile looking at that face? Do you think you can provide Ross with a forever home? If so, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or dogmanager@fourfootedfriends.org. You can also visit https://www.fourfootedfriends.org/ for more information on our organization and other pets we have available for adoption. You are also welcome to come visit any of our dogs to see if they might be the right fit! Visits are done by appointment only. Story
AVALON Attributes Likes some other dogs Housetrained Crate trained Needs a fence High energy This gorgeous young gal with movie-star looks is Avalon! Avalon is a beautiful and energetic beagle mix girl who would make a great companion for an avid walker, hiker, runner, or active family. A home with a yard where she can burn off her puppy energy by romping and playing would be ideal. Playtime with other dogs is a serious business for Avalon, and she does best at playing with another confident dog. Avalon is a beagle/boxer/terrier mix, and we’re guessing that she’ll weigh in the neighborhood of 50 pounds once she’s an adult. Because of her size, she’ll need supervision around smaller children but should be fine with older ones. She’s cautious around strangers and may sometimes bark but will warm up to them if given time to get to know them. She is also nervous about noises and new situations. Avalon is currently training to help her gain confidence. Avalon’s foster mom says that she a very smart girl and is picking up obedience basics such as “sit,” “wait,” and “come,” and is working on improving her leash manners. Avalon rides well in the car and goes to doggy daycare two or three days a week, where she really seems to enjoy hanging out and playing with her friends there. Her foster mom says she’s very food motivated and “eats like a vacuum” (show us a beagle who doesn’t!), so if there are other dogs in the house, she should be fed separately from them. When it’s time to go to sleep, Avalon is equally happy to snuggle up in a dog bed or people's bed – she just wants to be comfy! She’s housetrained with the use of a doggy door. If you’re looking to liven up your days with a sweet, affectionate, energetic companion, Avalon may be the dog you’ve been looking for! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full-time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor, or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet, and other important parts of your child's anatomy.

Story
SELENE Attributes Dog friendly Requires another dog Good in-car rides Good w/children over 4yo Playful Snuggly Requires a fence Working on housetraining High energy Selene is a 10-month-old beagle mix girl weighing 28 pounds. She is very energetic, playful, happy, and affectionate. Selene loves people and enjoys being with them as much as possible. Selene is young and athletic. She is good with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with canine friends. She loves stuffed toys, balls, bones, and sticks. Selene is smart and is quickly learning her new foster home. She is learning basic commands like Down and Sit but can still be jumpy and mouthy like a puppy when excited. While Selene enjoys plenty of activity, she also likes to relax and cuddle with her people. Selene is relatively quiet but is known to join other resident dogs in barking when she gets excited or hears a strange sound.  An ideal home for Selene is one with an active family committed to ensuring she receives the attention, exercise, and playtime she needs and the love and affection she deserves. She would also love a canine sibling and a fenced yard to run around.  Selene would be a great companion on outings with her new family, hiking, long walks, running, and car rides. She's overall a well-rounded young girl. NOTE: The dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).
