Story
Hello this is Luna and she is a very good dog. She likes to go on walks and she loves to play outside. She is good with our pit-bull puppy. She also loves to cuddle and watch tv but she doesn’t know what personal space is. She is a very active dog So she needs to go to new places. She really don’t like car rides and she has anxiety about the vet but if gave her a calming treat she will be ok. She has never ran away or bitten anyone. She Is a very good dog and I am look for her a new home because I am in college and I feel like my dog is not getting the best care and even though I do love her so much. I feel like it is unfair to Luna because I cant give her the care that she deserves because I am in college.

Story
Henry came to us as a young pup and was diagnosed with Megaesophagus. You can see by looking at him that it does not slow him down. The absolute only thing different between him and any other dog is that he has to eat on two feet. Everything else is normal. Eating on 4 feet is not an option for him. However, he can drink and have treats on 4. He is crate, house trained, and doggie door trained. He gets along well with all size of dogs as he has several foster siblings. He is very loving and affectionate and believe it or not is sensitive. When researching this condition, ask questions as not all cases are the same. His foster has had two different ME dogs and both are very different. He needs that special person who will look after him and make sure he stays and healthy and happy as he is now. He would love to have a playmate too.

Story
Gordy is a fluffy cookie monster, trapped in the body of a Border Collie. He doesn't know how to herd livestock or chase balls. He'd rather sit pretty for treats than run after sheep.Gordy is as handsome as they come! His right ear always stands at attention, while his left cocks to the side and a smile is stretched across his face. He loves to play tag in the yard with other dogs and tries to beat the neighboring dog to the end of the fence line. Gordy may be a little slow when feeling at ease in new situations or with new people, but once he knows you're a good person, he'll think you're the bee's knees and want to be friends!Would you like to wake up to Gordy's smile every morning? Then contact OHAR to learn more about how to meet him!History: Gordy was turned into the Mesquite Animal shelter when found as a stray. Gordy is a happy, playful guy who is eager to please. He is crate trained graduated from obedience training where he was a star pupil.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
Logan was my mother's dog, although I have been responsible for his healthcare for the last four years while he lived with her. Recently my mother moved out of the city (2 hours away) and left Logan behind. I took him in (as he is my dog's brother), but two dogs is proving to be too much for me, so I want to find Logan a home of his own. Logan lived in a home with another dog, a cat and young children - he does well with all of them. He absolutely LOVES children. He is gentle and sweet, and really is the perfect dog. He loves to give hugs and he smiles ALL THE TIME. He is a glass half full kind of guy! He could use a bit more training - but he walks well on a leash, he knows sit, lay and stay, and he is not food aggressive even in the slightest. Logan is not a high energy dog - he is fine sitting around the house all day without the need to be running or going in and out in the backyard.

Story
It was 2021 July 12, two days after my birthday I was gifted Daisy by my best friend. At first I didn’t know Daisy was a breed who will grow big, so I accepted the gift and kept her. Over the months I started seeing her grow big and big and at first my mom wasn’t happy about it because we lived in apartments, and we still do. Daisy’s birthday is May 8th making her 4 years old. Although she might seem old she is very playful and loves to go for runs and walks. The more i walked Daisy outside the more she got used to ignoring people and other dogs while on her walk, that made going outside with her easier. What I’m looking for in a new home for Daisy is someone who lives in a house, where she would have her own backyard to run and play around with.Daisy gets along with other dogs she tends to live with. It takes time but she gets used to the company. Daisy loves to cuddle. She knows to do her business outside and can be in a cage.If daisy is the pet you are looking for please contact me.
