Story
Hi! My name is Maisy and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 06/01/2023.I am about 39.70lbs.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`.I am an affectionate lovebug who would benefit from some training! Training can help with my mental stimulation for my health and well-being. I am full of energy, and I love to run! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Mental enrichment fends off boredom, frustration, and anxiety, ultimately preventing undesirable behaviors, My caregivers have noticed that I might get along with other dogs I just need them to match my energy, when meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction. I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Please remember that with me being new to your home it can take me a few weeks or even months to come around and become the best dog I can be! So please be kind and patient with me as we learn together what we are both needing. With the right guidance from you, I will learn to be comfortable with my new family. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hello, I'm Zippy. I'm the fastest dog at the dog park every. single. time. My family loves to take me on runs and hikes, but they can't seem to run me out of energy, ever. I love my adults, but I have snapped at small kids multiple times. When I was 1.5 human years, I bit a 3-year-old, he still loves me, but he has a small scar My humans had dog trainers come over and work with me, but I still make mistakes and growl and snap at kids at times. My family sends me to a super fun boarding place in Olympia twice a year, but I didn't do my best there. I ended up being grounded for most of the week, and now I can't go back to boarding. My family has tried everything. I can't go to public places anymore where there are crowds. I belong on a big farm, herding sheep all day. I am an outdoor dog with an awesome kennel and house, but I am usually found running back and forth in my cage, even after a long day out. Please help, I need more space and time.

Story
I would like to introduce you to Slater, he is a very sweet boy who is full of energy and LOVES being around people. Both he and his human mama (expecting her first baby) recently moved into our home, unfortunately between our work schedules and our other children he is being kept in a room all day. We would leave him outside except he barks nonstop if left alone outside for long periods of time and I do not want to bother our neighbors. Sometimes he has been left for 9-12 hours without attention and it isn't fair to him. This is no life for this sweet boy. He craves people and activity. We are doing everything in our power not to send him to a shelter, we all would be heartbroken as he is a lover. Please help us!

Story
Name: Sorang Good with women: He likes women very much. Good with men: He likes women very much. He loves people regardless of gender and is obedient. Good with kids : They are very curious about children and do not show aggression even if they suddenly hug or move. Good with other dogs: He is very curious about other puppies and do not feel pressured to approach puppies that do not like them. Good with cats: When he sees a cat, he is curious, but does not show aggression. House trained: He defecates both indoors and outdoors, and does not defecate indoors except on a litter pad. Crate trained : No kennel training yet. Energylevel: He is lively, but calm for his age of 6 months. In terms of energy level, it is 7/10. Can be handled/touched: He loves the touch of people and dogs. Barker : He rarely barks. It is not sensitive to motorcycle noise or other noises. Also, when a delivery man visits the house, he greets them without barking. Flight risk : It is judged that there is little risk of escape. Food aggressive: They are generally good at food, but when they see food for the first time, they carefully sniff it and eat it slowly. He prefers mainly meat. Current food: Orijen Puppy Walks on leash: He mainly wears a harness and goes for walks, and does not drag the leash excessively. Leash reactive to people or dogs: He has no aggression and is sometimes afraid of larger dogs. Rides well in car : He rarely gets motion sickness. Movements of less than an hour are well tolerated. Destructive: He has no inclination to destroy things. (I have a weak grip.) Needs a home with a yard: He's big, so it'd be nice to go to a house with a yard and expend energy. However, whether or not the yard is not very important. Needs a home with another dog: He has some separation anxiety disorder. (There is no destructive behavior other than howling) It would be nice to have a friend to stay with. Can live in an apartment : He tends to howl when people are away, so he prefers houses over apartments.

Story
Rocky had a rough start to life but things are looking up for him! He was born to a stray momma and came to rescue at 7 weeks old very sick after ingesting a toxin. A few days in the hospital and he's a happy healthy boy now! He is currently about 4 months old and he is a typical border collie mix puppy! He is active and playful. He loves to run and play in the dirt! He's great with other dogs and kids. In true border collie form, he is very smart. He is doing great with potty training and crate training and he's working on basic commands like sit and walking on the leash. The adoption fee is $395 with transport and includes current shots, microchip, neuter and current on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. If you are interested in adopting Rocky email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com for an application.
