Nelson is an adorable16 week old Border Collie puppy looking for a home. Those ears though!!❤️ He is very social with people and other dogs, and is so very smart, a true characteristic of his breed. He learns quickly and is fun to train. He is crate trained, doing fantastic on housebreaking, and walks nicely on a leash. He entertains himself by throwing his treats and toys in the air and trying to catch them, he’s so cute! Nelson is vaccinated, has been treated for internal and external parasites, and the Rescue will pay for his neuter and microchip when he comes of age. Nelson is being fostered in Waukesha County, and an Adoption fee applies. If interested in little Nelson and his ears, fill out an application for him at Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue out of Union Grove, Wi. Story
Meet the Kentucky Crew! These five sweet mixed-breed pups have had quite a journey already, and now they are ready for their next big adventure: finding loving foster homes and forever families. Their Story Their mama belonged to a homeless woman in Kentucky who loved her very much. When mama unexpectedly got pregnant, her owner knew she could not give the babies the medical attention and resources they needed to thrive. Out of pure love and a desire to give them their absolute best chance at a happy, healthy life, she reached out to a local rescue for help. That rescue connected with us, and we jumped at the chance to welcome these tiny travelers into our care. The Details Age: Young puppies (ready for foster placement and pre-adoption) Expected Size: Medium to large. Mom is around 45 lbs, and while dad we suspect was border collie, we expect these pups to grow into similar medium-to-large companions. Personality: Classic puppy energyequal parts playfulness, curiosity, and sweet snuggle sessions. How You Can Help Whether you are looking to open your heart for a few weeks as a foster or a lifetime as an adopter, these pups need you. Fosters Needed: Fostering gives these pups a safe, warm environment to learn house manners, socialize, and grow until they are ready for adoption. We supply all food and medical care; you supply the love! Future Adopters: Ready to add a loyal, goofy, and resilient new best friend to your family? Get your application in early so you are pre-approved when they are ready to head to their forever homes. The adoption fee of 550 includes current vaccines, microchip, and neuter at our rescue vet when old enough. If you choose your vet, we will reimburse 100 Ready to foster or adopt one of these puppies? Story
Lincoln is a handsome young Border Collie Mix, with an estimated date of birth of December 23 2022. He weighs about 45 lbs. He absolutely loves people and is very affectionate. However he is not fond of other dogs. Lincoln enjoys spending time in his foster family’s yard and would love a forever home with a large, secure fenced (above ground) yard. He loves spending time with human friends and needs a family or, a single pet parent, who will spend plenty of time with him. Because he’s not good with other dogs, dog parks are not on his list of favorite places! However, he is an active boy and would love to go for hikes and runs with his people….when he’s not playing in his own yard! Border Collie experience is a big plus for this smart boy. Due to his energy/playfulness, he is not an apartment or condo dweller. Rather, he’d love his own spaces where he could run and play, and an active family, or pet parent!! Lincoln is up to date on all vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is on heartworm preventative. He is neutered and microchipped as well. For information about adding this adorable boy to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895. BAARK is located in the far NW suburbs of Chicago and adopts local to this area.

Story
Milo was adopted by my family at 4 months old from Paws Chicago and has been with my family ever since for the last 4 years. We had a son and he came back extremely allergic and so we’re making the decision to rehome. He’s an amazing house dog. House trained. No accidents in the house, super loving and I think he believes he’s human lol. He’s not super needy and is ok being left alone while working.
