Nelson is an adorable16 week old Border Collie puppy looking for a home. Those ears though!!❤️ He is very social with people and other dogs, and is so very smart, a true characteristic of his breed. He learns quickly and is fun to train. He is crate trained, doing fantastic on housebreaking, and walks nicely on a leash. He entertains himself by throwing his treats and toys in the air and trying to catch them, he’s so cute! Nelson is vaccinated, has been treated for internal and external parasites, and the Rescue will pay for his neuter and microchip when he comes of age. Nelson is being fostered in Waukesha County, and an Adoption fee applies. Benny is a good dog, loves our kids, and is friendly with people. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, so he is well trained. He needs lots of exercise, otherwise he starts chewing things up, and since we live in a city, and are very busy, we can’t sufficiently burn his energy. So we want him to have a home with someone who has the time for the daily walks, the exercise times, the mental stimulation and more. If he gets that, he’s the perfect dog, but we simply can’t burn enough of his energy to handle the excess. He does have lots of dog friends, and does consistent play dates, but he shouldn’t be put in a dog park, as it overstimulates him and he can become reactive towards large male dogs. He loves licking everyone, and is especially amazing with kids. If you have the time and energy, he’ll be the perfect dog for you! He might not be the best choice if you have cats. He likes to chase them.

Meet Emma! This sweet well adjusteud girl is ready to meet her forever family. Emma gets along well with other dogs and tolerates cats. She’s shy around new people, especially men, but if left alone, warms up quickly. Once past the introduction phase, she actually loves attention and will snuggle with you on the couch, even trying to sit on your lap! Because she’s an attention diva, she’ll do well as an only dog but doesnt have to be an only dog. So far, her only drawback is she doesn’t do well around young children. Their sudden movements make her nervous. Older kids, 10 and up should be OK. Emma is house and crate trained. She does well left on her own in the house, even for several hours or overnight. She walks well on leash, no pulling or lagging. Her energy level is medium to low. She enjoys laying on the deck watching for squirrels or bunnies. She’s a talker, and barks when excited or if she hears something, making her a good watch dog. Emma is spayed, up to date on vaccines.

He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them.
