Boss was taken from an owner who, found him and was going to put him in dog fighting. Fortunately, we were able to rescue the dog before being exposed. Unfortunately, his foster owners who rescued him are not able to keep him given their landlord rules. Boss is a sweet cuddling boy. He does well with other dogs. He prefers a home without cats, for he is not used to them. He knows basic commands and learns very quickly. He is potty trained and does well in a crate. He loves car rides and walks, although, he is still learning not to pull. He is very energetic and loves to play so he will need someone who can provide an active lifestyle. Nooga is very easy going, glad to meet anyone he meets but will not go to them. He waits for them to come to him. He loves to play with toys and walks well on a leash. In addition to being very uniquely handsome. he is an all around good guy. My name is Tatum. I am a Red Heeler/ American Shepard/ Boxer mix. I am between 1 and 2 years old. I am very young and sweet. I am very loving but also skittish of strangers at first. I like other animals but they don't like me because I'm very hyper and I have a lot of energy. I think I'm a lap dog. I don't understand that I'm big. I need a big place to run and be walked regularly so I can run off my energy and be your buddy in the house. I am kennel trained mostly. And potty trained somewhat. But I will need you to keep working on that with me. I would say I'm probably better with older kids and adults just because I'm so hyper. As I get older and get room to run I will get better with that. I am very lovable and sweet. I am a people pleaser. I want to do whatever you want me too. Zoomer was thrown out like trash on a country road, luckily he ended up with a wonderful lady who quickly had him neutered and is keeping him happily entertained.
