Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. Hi, this is Beta! She is a 7-year-old pitty (65lb), who loves to snuggle and cuddle. She will follow you around all day and make sure you're never lonely. We adopted Beta 5 years ago as a young couple and she has been a terrific pet pet and beloved companion. She responds quickly to training, is pets- and praise- and food-motivated. She knows many commands.She loves people! Loves to meet new people and will absolutely be tripping over herself to become your friend. She has a big bark to show her excitement that might sound intense, but that's just how her voice sounds. She gets along with other dogs pretty well and has lived with a Frenchie for the past 4 years. We are needing to find Beta a new home because we had a baby and learned that Beta does not like little people. She's great with kids over 8 but our now 2-year-old son stresses her out a lot. She did bite him last year to correct him (level 2 bite) and we have decided to find her a better home where she feels more comfortable.
