Story
Randall is a young, beefy bully mix looking for his forever home. This happy, friendly boy loves everyone he meets and greets new friends with his signature full-body wiggle that starts at his nose and goes all the way to his tail.Randall is a social guy who enjoys being around people and is dog friendly, too. He brings a lot of joyful energy wherever he goes and would thrive with a family who’s ready for a lovable, friendly companion. He is still working on his manners and would benefit from some basic training to help him channel his excitement. Sometimes he forgets just how big and enthusiastic he is! Because of his bouncy personality, he’d do best in an adult-only home or with dog-savvy kids over 10.If you’re looking for a chunky, happy boy with endless wiggles and lots of love to give, Randall might be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
PT (short for Part Time, Pinky Toe, Public Transit, etc.) was born in October 2024 and adopted in January of 2025 Gainesville, FL, and then moved with her family to Philadelphia, PA in July of 2025. She has all of the personality and puppy energy you could ask for, while noticeably chilling out as she grows older. She loves going to the dog park and has incredible agility- truly a graceful freak of a dog! My partner and I have had increasingly busy schedules, and on top of that recently separated. This has put a strain on the amount of time we are able to spend going on long walks, to the park, and focusing on PT's needs in general. While the decision to rehome her has been incredible difficult, ultimately we want to find a home for PT where she can receive all of the attention she deserves.

Story
Snowcone (ACCT-A-244639) arrived at ACCT Philly on March 6th after police discovered him and two other dogs tied up inside an abandoned home. Despite this difficult start, Snowcone has shown himself to be a resilient and affectionate young dog who is eager to connect with people and soak up attention. Since arriving at the shelter, Snowcone has consistently demonstrated a loving and people-oriented personality. He happily leans into pets, greets handlers with soft eyes and wiggly energy, and takes treats gently. Volunteers describe him as a “lover” who enjoys being close to his person and will enthusiastically jump up to say hello. Snowcone is still learning some basics like responding to cues and playing with toys—he seems a bit unfamiliar with games like fetch and even flinched when a ball was thrown, suggesting he may not have had much experience with play before arriving. Even so, he shows curiosity and interest and may blossom with patient guidance and positive reinforcement. Snowcone has also shown encouraging social behavior with other dogs. Through the fence and in playgroup assessments, he has displayed loose body language, friendly greetings, and interest in meeting canine companions. While he can pull on leash when other dogs are nearby due to excitement, he has been steerable and warms up quickly after initial tension. During a recent day trip, he reportedly did very well, greeting strangers on walks with loose, wiggly tail wags and friendly enthusiasm. Snowcone also already knows how to give both paws, showing that he is a smart boy who enjoys interacting with people and learning new things. Overall, Snowcone is a sweet, affectionate dog who seems ready for a fresh start in a loving home where he can continue to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy the stability he deserves. 📽️Videos📽️ Playgroup 3/11 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLfMCm6kgAGI7Vq8Skb-neqaasHwSjId9v Snowcone knows paw and other paw: https://youtube.com/shorts/1ezmwlkoUtY?feature=shared Meet Snowcone: https://youtube.com/shorts/HJvZ-RFDtBE?si=VudYAJ2kI-Wm3p8X Snowcone playing in the yard: https://youtube.com/shorts/CVLLXJznBUM?si=pB1Kc2jGZlTOjJTg ⭐Behavioral Notes⭐ Per volunteer 3/18/26: I took friendly snow cone out who is such a happy dog and so playful! Very easy to leash and walk! Walksheet notes: Snowcone was taken for a walk on March 15th. During this interaction, the handler noted that Snowcone had a medium energy level. The handler reported mild mouthing and moderate jumpiness. No one provided any additional behavioral notes or comments for this interaction. Day trip foster 3/12/26: Thank you again so much for the chance to take Snowcone out yesterday! I’m so grateful to have had a few hours with him and can’t wait to be able to take another dog out! I saw his updated profile and love hearing about his fast progress, especially considering his story and how he was found. I wanted to send over some more pictures of him smiling and happy. I can’t wait for him to hopefully find his forever home!! Also, just wanted to add a few more details about our trip!! He was so well behaved in the car and didn’t seem to have any anxiety at all. Once we were at Wissahickon, at one point he was trying to tug on the lease with his mouth as if he was playing. He seemed to do well with commands like sit, paw, and even stay when he had to wait for his treat. Playgroup 03/11/2026: High rapid tail wags, lip licking stiff at the gate, steerable, ears back, tense at first and then warmed up showing interest in multiple dogs, more relaxed body, high-mid level wags, ears back and then forward, good greetings 03/11/2026 per staff: When returning from day trip, foster indicated did well. Met strangers on walk-greeted with loose and wiggly wags. Upon return to kennel-Snow Cone was assessed in playgroup-spoke to behavior team that was present. Changing eligibility status to foster eligible due to notes and current behavior status 03/07/2026 per volunteer behavioral eval: Kennel Presentation: in crate, when I opened crate door, pawed to come out. I felt comfortable sticking leash in and lassoing. Leash Skills: can pull hard and whip around when a dog is around. Sociability: Snowcone is a lover. Comes over for pets, leans into you. Soft eyes. Gentle with treats. Did not respond to commands. Jumps up to say hi. Play: chased toys but seemed unfamiliar with them or fetching them. Flinched when I threw a ball. Did not retrieve. Dog Interaction: interested through fence. Loose body, neutral tail with medium speed tail wag. Return to Kennel: went back into crate for treats easily.
