Story
My mom had Lexi for 2 years and sadly she recently passed away. I have had Lexi ever since, I love her but my other cats do not get along with her. She can be shy, very sweet and sadly she hides most of the day because of them. She doesn’t have any behavior issues, doesn’t scratch furniture or bite, does extremely well with the litter box, etc. I would keep her but I’ve seen her much happier in a home without other cats. She has been around dogs too without issue. Shes around 4 or 5 years old and she does like to eat wet or dry food, she prefers to eat larger meals just twice a day or just to be free fed dry food. She’s not super anxious about eating. Shes very shy at first but she does like affection & doesn’t mind being picked up. One of her eyes weeps once or twice a week and the vets confirmed she just has an allergy

Story
I love my Cali but a few things have led me to have to let her go. We rescued her as a kitten from the streets and gave her a good home with my other two cats who already lived with us. They ended up getting along fine but I believe this kitty is stressed out in our home and feeling like she has to compete with our other cats for territory. It seems my other cats intimidate her and she'd rather stay away from them. She uses her litter box just fine. I just got the news that I am 7 weeks pregnant and unfortunately I need to cut down on my animals and believe this kitty deserves a loving home with preferably no other cats in the home. She is due for an updated rabies shot. She was chipped, examined, spayed shots when we rescued her. (I have paperwork) I really wouldn't be giving her away if I wasn't pregnant but the thought of my other cats stressing her out and me being pregnant I believe this would be a good choice. I dont want her going to the spca.

Story
Willow is approximately 5 years old and came to live with us when a previous owner in the military had to relocate. Willow was spayed and had her front claws removed before coming to live with us. She can be a cuddly cat but will nip( I hate to say bite because it doesn’t hurt or break skin) because she doesn’t have nails to warn or protect herself. She tends to latch onto a person and identifies them as her person. She does well with children and dogs and previously she was with other cats which she was fine with. There is a behavioral issue regarding litter box usage as she will pee in the litter box with no issue but rarely will poop in one. We have tried to work with her but at this point she is having to be secluded to one room locked away to avoid her pooping all over. She recently had her shots updated and an overall healthy checkup. We are away a lot and she is left home so she may do well with a household that could be present with her more.

Story
This is Tabatha a young momma.  She came to foster with a single baby. Baby has found her forever home on 9/27/2025.  Now, Tabatha can look for hers.   She’s a bit cautious at first, but when she warms up, she is a love bug.  Tabatha loves her back scratches and plops down and rolls around when she’s  happy.  She still startles at fast-moving people, but she’s learning.   Tabatha loves adventures and is very inquisitive.  She will sit at the window bird watching, too.  She has no interest in the outdoors.  She would love to stay in a warm house and be pampered.    Tabatha gets along with other cats; she has not been introduced to dogs nor to young children.   Tabatha is small and is maybe a year to a year and a half old.  She is spayed and vaccinated, in need of her booster but will be all ready when the right human comes along.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Denise P.)November 12, 2025, 11:14 am

Story
Meet Ladybird aka Sparrow!1-year-old female | Calico with tabby markings (Tabico). Ladybird wasn’t shy about asking for help. She simply showed up one day, gently asking anyone—everyone—to let her inside and give her a place to belong. She clearly knew she didn’t want to be outside any longer. When no microchip was found and no one came forward after posting her on Facebook, rescuers knew Ladybird deserved better than a life waiting on porches or braving the summer heat. She was brought to Forgotten Cats, where she could finally be safe, loved, and start fresh. Ladybird is sweet, trusting, and full of gratitude—her way of saying 'thank you' is by leaning in for affection and purring softly. She’s ready to leave the past behind and find a home that will never let her down. Take a look at the photo and video of Ladybird on a blanket basking in the sun. Her coat is so beautiful! She was quietly enjoying pets from her new visitor, until I shocked her on the nose. (But sweet Ladybird quickly forgave me.)  Here is her video:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/54HwQIA_zmE . Please let Ladybird into your heart—she’s been waiting for you. Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer; Marie J.)November 9, 2025, 12:49 pm

Story
Kid-, Dog- and Cat-Friendly!!  Sweet little Elizabeth is female Tabico Tux. We are guessing she was born sometime August/ September 2025. This little girl has a very very calm, sweat, laid-back personality.  Elizabeth loves her string toys and playing with her litter mates. I must say this girl loves to curl up in your lap for a long nap. Elizabeth can also be found in a sunny window watching the birds. Elizabeth lives with her 4 litter mates plus a few house cats and lastly an extra-large house dog (over 100 lbs). Elizabeth gets along with everyone in the house. I would even say she is good with children too. Elizabeth is good with: Children: Absolutely. She loves everyone! Cats: She loves feline friends!!! Dogs: Yes! Elizabeth lives with an extra-large house dog and she does not mind at all. -        Spayed. -        FeLV/ FIV: Neg. -        Litter Trained. -        Up to date on all shots. -        Flea preventative. Elizabeth is playing with her foster family and with her brother Enzo (FCID# 11/25/2025 - 136).   Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Sonia G.).December 1, 2025, 2:58 pm
