Head and chin rubs, please!!!  Meet Coral, my beautiful tabico foster.  Coral came to me after having her left leg amputated, to gain her confidence living without a leg. Coral has come such a long way. Having her leg amputated has not slowed her down at all. She jumps, runs, plays without issue. Coral loves: food and treats, soft toys she can easily grab and cat nip. To see her growth and love grow over the last 3 months has been amazing. She went from a cat that did not really interact with me to jumping and running to me when I walk in her room. She lights up and meows at me until I pet her. Coral loves being having her head and chin rubbed as she sits there purring away.  To her future adopter: Please be patient with Coral as she adjusts to her new surroundings. She was very reserved at first, but within a month, she was playing, laying on the couch with me and loving life. Coral also loves her own space and laying in windows. She may enjoy being an only cat; however, Coral has been introduced to resident cats. She is unsure at times but only hisses, but with time and patience, I believe she would adjust perfectly fine with another laid back cat that gives her space. She does okay with my one resident cat that comes into her area. That’s because he just wants to be in the space and doesn’t bother her. Coral is playing with her foster family.  Please ask to meet her and have some playtime!  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Joanna S.)  July 26, 2024, 5:29 pm

Story
Just me, please!!  BEAUTY QUEEN ALERT!  Please meet Meadow!  This cute girl is about a year old and petite with silky soft fur.   Her coloring is a beautiful blend of diluted tabby and calico.  Meadow is very playful, fairly confident and likes to receive pets on her head as well as chin rubs.  She is not fond of nail trims, so be prepared to only get one or two at a time.  The longer nails lead to scratching of furniture and carpets, so we are working on using the scratching post instead.    Meadow absolutely loves running through cat tunnels!  When she isn’t running through cat tunnels, Meadow enjoys counter surfing and is not opposed to getting on top of kitchen cabinets.   She loves playing with any cat toys offered, and tends to prefer ones with catnip and/or feathers or chasing cat balls!  After she is done exploring and playing, she will curl up on a soft blanket or a cat tree if it is by a sunny window.    Meadow does great with the litter box.  She has used pine pellets as well as clumping litter with no problem.  She has no special needs or special diet.  So far, she seems to favor Friskies Pate wet food and Kitten Meow Mix for dry food, eating more dry than wet food.      Meadow would do best being Queen of her Castle and entertaining herself.  She will allow you to hold her briefly.  She loves head scratches and chin rubs.  After a few weeks, she was snuggling up to foster mom but not so fond of her cat foster siblings.  Some cats just prefer a human companion.   Meadow may present with a bit of a sassy exterior at first but she truly is a sweet girl just looking for her furever home.    Our Trainer, PA volunteers note that Meadow enjoys being offered a pinch of catnip, and she is crazy about ping pong balls.  Game anyone?    Please submit our no-obligation adoption application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/. Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer)July 26, 2024, 5:29 pm

What a playful, love bug this pretty girl Molly is! And you have to love that precious, bright-eyed face. When I visited Molly, she was so excited to greet me and shower me with affection.  She loved to be petted and would have been happy to keep me company all day.  Molly will be a delightful lifelong friend to some lucky person!  Molly had already been spayed and microchipped before she came through our doors.  Would you like to put YOUR information onto her chip?  Molly is playing with her new foster family and with new foster pal Lewes (FCID# 07/31/2023 - 95) and eats the same Hill's Biome food that Lewes eats.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Victoria C.) July 26, 2024, 5:29 pm

Story
Meet Margo! This gal is a beautiful tabico (tabby + calico) cat with a striking mix of orange, black, and white fur. Her soft coat and light green eyes give her a unique and charming appearance. This sweetheart has a gentle demeanor that makes her a true love bug. Her demure, scratchy meow is quite endearing and will draw you in for attention. She loves being showered with affection in the form of kisses on her head, bushing sessions, and all over body pets. While she's not entirely sure about being held, Margo loves to be close to her humans and we think she’ll enjoy cuddling up next to you. Special Note: Margo has blocked tear ducts, which is no big deal! It just means you'll need to wipe them from time to time.  Sociability: With People: Margo is very friendly and enjoys the company of people. We don’t know if she’s met children, but we think she’d be OK with proper introduction.  With Cats: Margo seems to get along well with other cats. With Dogs: Her experience with dogs is unknown. Come meet Margo at our Willow Grove Shelter!
