Daffodil is a loyal, affectionate, playful cat who loves any & all of his toys and snuggling next to his human(s). He'll make a great pet in a home where somebody is nearby during the day as he really enjoys being near you, but he also does well if he needs to be left alone. He is conversational and will let you know when he wants to eat or play. A house with accessible windows or a nice perch would be ideal, since he loves to climb up and watch the world go by. He loves wet food and is very neat with the litter box. He’s really the perfect cat companion! Daffodil is one of our special care animals due to chronic upper respiratory infections and gingivitis, which can require a little extra vet care, but such a perfectly charming guy is absolutely worth the extra investment. This beautiful girl is Marcie! Marcie started as a shy cat who didn’t fully trust people. After having her with a dedicated, wonderful foster for a month, she is becoming a loving, playful cat. She always wants to play. Her favorite toy is the cat dancer, but if she can’t convince someone to play with that, she loves plastic Easter eggs, ping pong balls and even hair ties and will chase them all over the house. She likes pets, but only on her terms, usually while playing. Marcie still takes a little bit of time to get used to new people and new environments, but play will usually win her over! As an older lady she may not be as energetic or playful but she loves to cuddle with her people and be near humans as much as possible. Due to chronic ear infections and potential chronic kidney disease, Darla is one of our Special Care pets. Darla will need to go to a home comfortable with the frequent vet visits and treatments that older cats often need - especially those experiencing dynamic health issues like this sweet thirteen year old. Here's what her foster parent had to say about her, "Libra is an amazing mom, chirping to her kittens at feeding time and running to inspect what I'm doing when I clean thier faces. She doesn't vocalize to me - just her kittens. She still doesn't like to be picked up - unless I've just put food in her bowl and am lifting her into the kitten pen to eat. She seeks out pets, purrs, and has a very distinctive, "I don't want to be a bother, but might I please have some more food" stare. She never demands. When I'm handling her kittens, she just watches me with curiosity - not fear or anger. She's very "polite"."
