Story
He’s the most outgoing of his litter. If there’s something going on, he’s there. No behavioral issues. Wasn’t quick enough to get his mother spayed before she was suddenly with kittens. He’s friendly with cats, dogs and people. He still has plenty of kitten in him. He needs someone to love to play with him.

Story
TENNESSEE ADOPTION ONLY...NO TRANSPORT Meet Galileo: A Special Cat in Need of a Loving HomeGalileo is a charming and affectionate cat who joined us in January after the unfortunate passing of his previous owner in November. His journey to us was marked by resilience and survival, having been discovered by a neighbor in a home filled with other animals, devoid of food and water. Despite these challenging beginnings, Galileo is now thriving and ready to find his forever home.Galileo's StoryAfter a few days in our care, we noticed that Galileo seemed to have trouble with his eyesight. A visit to the veterinarian confirmed our suspicions: Galileo is blind. The cause of his blindness remains a mystery, and it may never be determined. Nevertheless, Galileo is a healthy cat full of life and energy.Special Needs and RequirementsDue to his blindness, Galileo requires a special home with an owner who is experienced in caring for cats with similar needs. He is incredibly sweet, loving, and intelligent, and he deserves a home where he can feel safe and comfortable. Although he gets along with other cats, we believe he might thrive best as the only cat in the household. However, we are open to considering different home settings on a case-by-case basis. What Galileo LovesGalileo has his own unique preferences and loves that bring him joy. Here are some of his favorite activities:Drinking from his fountain: Galileo enjoys the sound and feel of running water and takes great pleasure in drinking from his fountain.Playing with enrichment toys: Despite his blindness, Galileo is playful and loves interacting with toys that stimulate his senses. He has been neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. We are committed to finding the perfect match for Galileo and will carefully review potential adopters to ensure they meet his needs. If you believe your home could be the loving and nurturing environment Galileo needs, we would love to hear from you. Adopting Galileo not only means providing him with a home but also welcoming a loyal and loving companion into your life.https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=43LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Essentially he’s not my cat, but my daughter spends no time with him. He may be about 7months old. He calls out to me in the morning when I’m supposed to get up and is there waiting at the window for me to come home. He’s extremely intelligent. He know how to get the cat snacks out of the cupboard. He needs someone who will not only pet him, but hold him. He's very loving. At one point he was sleeping with the dog. I think he just wanted company. He behaves well and gets along with both cats and the dog

Story
Mel was one of a litter of 7. She’s missing the love of her mother. Momma is here, but she’s not cuddly like a human would be. She play fights with her brother, but she’s the quiet introvert of the litter. She’s a good listener.

Story
We found Rocket outside on the street in January during the freezing weather and started feeding him several times a day for about a week. After seeing him regularly and realizing he needed help, we decided to bring him inside. He’s a very sweet, playful boy who loves attention. Unfortunately, our female cat has not adjusted well to him and they are not getting along, so we want to find a better home for him. Rocket deserves a loving family where he can get the attention he needs and be comfortable. We truly just want to find the best possible home for this sweet boy.
