Fancy has just been transferred to Animal Outreach. Fancy is a sweet, social, vocal girl looking for a home with no other cats because she has a bit of a bullying problem. Fancy does get overstimulated when playing. She is super focused on her toy. If this happens, remove her or the toy from the situation. Fancy was a stray that was not claimed and transferred to us from animal control. Fancy does NOT seem to get along with other cats. Dogs and children are unknown. Patches was one of 62 cats relinquished. He does get along with other cats but is a bit shy and will need time to trust his new family. We are unsure of how his ear became deformed. Patches is a very shy boy and will need time to adjust to his new home. A quiet home may be best for Patches Patches was a relinquish to animal control and transferred to Animal Outreach. We are unsure of how Patches would do with dogs and children. As always, please be sure to allow a slow introduction with each animal having their own space in the home. Posy is a 7 year old bundle of love for her humans! Posy was a stray that was not claimed and transferred to us from animal control. Posy does NOT seem to get along with other cats. Story

Gertrude is a very sweet old girl looking for a home to live out her life. We received a call from HAWS in Wisconsin about a cat that chipped back to AOS. Gertie is estimated at 14 years old but has much time to still spend with her people. She doesn't play much but loves to sit on her foster mom's lap and the heating vent. She refuses to use any type of cat bed, pillow, or blanket and prefers to sleep on the wood floor. When Gertrude came to AOS she was in pretty bad shape. She has scaring on her right cornea and we know she has very limited, if any sight in that eye. She had an upper respiratory infection, urinary tract infection, had to amputate 5 inches of her tail, fleas, lungworm, and had to have a tooth removed. Gertie's left eye was not doing well with a possible foreign object/corneal abrasion and had to be removed. Gertie knows her foster mom's voice and footsteps as she will come to the foster room door and is waiting for "mom" as soon as she opens the door. She definitely knows the sound of opening a can of food! It took a bit for Gertie to trust and show affection to her foster mom but that could also be attributed to the amount of pain she was in when she first went there. She has never been mean or aggressive, just standoffish. Gertie does not seem to get along with cats; dogs unknown; children unknown but possibly older children who understand that she is older and cannot see well.

Marcus has just been transferred to Animal Outreach. Marcus is a 10 year old male looking for a home without another cat. He is LOVABLE! He wants all of your attention. When the attempt was made to introduce him to a friend, he wasn't loving it. He is currently alone and doing just fine.
