This sweet boy came into care with his buddy Jamie. He was very scared being in the shelter, but in his own environment, his personality really shines. He is a very active boy who loves to run in the yard, play fetch with his balls/toys. His favorite toys are ones that make noise. He is a gentle soul, looking for the right family that will give him the individual love and attention he needs. He is great with older kids and other dogs. Though it might be best for him to be in a home where he can be the alpha dog. He does not get along with cats and seems to be a bit aggressive towards them. We are working on training him on some basic commands, and he is completely house-trained. His ideal family would be a very active family that can take him on daily walks, has time to train him, and can provide all the attention he seeks. Bea is a new arrival from a local shelter. She was so scared there that she was labeled rescue only. She is now with a foster and doing well. Barbie is a sweet and loving girl. Her absolute favorite activity is to snuggle and give kisses. She would love to be with you 24/7, but she won’t complain if you need to be out for a few hours. She is very tidy and doesn’t get into any mischief.She also enjoys taking long walks. She walks right by your side and doesn’t pull at all! She doesn’t react to dogs, squirrels, strangers, etc.Speaking of dogs, she is dog friendly but needs a few moments to warm up! She will give a warning growl if a dog gets in her face, but if you take it slow they will be running around together in the yard before you know it! Happy and so very sweet and to think she was on death row at the shelter!! She is absolutely fine with having guests over. She gives friendly greetings, but tends to stick by her foster mom.
