Story
My name is Otter and my fosters love me a lotter! That's because I am such a snuggle bug and lap dog. I am learning so much in my foster home, like the doggie door, house training and crate training. I was scared of the other dogs at first, but now I am friends with everyone. I love to wrestle and play chase with small dogs my size, Usually I have a toy or nylabone nearby because I discovered just how awesome those things are! I usually hang out where ever you are and am a great office assistant for my foster mom who works from home. And the sweetest thing about me is I make myself at home in your lap whenever I get the chance. I probably need a little more leash training, but other than that, I am ready to find my furever home!

Story
Leo is a spunky, happy 5 1/2 year old, 13 lb, Chihuahua mix who has been patiently waiting for his forever home. He does well with other small dogs and is both potty and crate trained. He enjoys going for walks, cuddling on a lap and loves spending time with his people. Leo would love a small playful companion in his forever home. Leo is looking for an adult only home. If you’re interested in adopting or meeting this sweet boy, you can apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2487807##

Story
Here’s an update from Milo’s foster: “Milo is settling in well! He doesn’t show much interest in the other dogs and prefers to stay close to me, he’s truly my little shadow. He has been super sweet and loves curling up on my lap and looks forward to our daily walks. He does seem to prefer women and has been cautious around my husband, occasionally growling, but will allow him to pet him.” Milo’s ideal home would be with a female adopter who is home most of the time or works from home. He does not need another dog in the home, but would do fine with another small dog who isn’t interested in playing. He whines when he is first crated, but settles down quickly. He prefers a quiet environment, so an adult only home is ideal for Milo. Milo is a 5 1/2 year old, 15 lb, Chihuahua mix. If you are interested in adopting Milo, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. Story
Meet Rocky! Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m a small terrier mix with a shy, sweet personality, looking for my forever home. I weigh about 16 pounds, and my vet says I’ll likely stay under 25 pounds—perfect for cuddles on the couch! I’m crate-trained and sleep well at night, but I’m ready to start the day whenever you wake up. I know how to potty outside; I just need a little help being let out regularly. I get along well with other dogs and even cats. I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I absolutely love cuddles, attention, and belly rubs. Some of my favorite things are: * Sunbathing in a backyard or sunny spot * Playing with toys and chewing on bones * Treats and mealtime * Running around and having the zoomies! I’m looking for a patient and loving home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. If you have a cozy spot, a sunny backyard, and lots of love to give, I might just be your perfect match!

Hi, I’m Buddha! I’m an active and loving puppy looking for my forever home. I’m crate-trained, potty-trained, and even let you know when it’s time to go outside. I adore being outside—sunbathing, running around, and getting the zoomies are my favorite activities! Mealtime is a big highlight for me, and I also love toys and bones. I weigh about 13 pounds and my vet says I’ll likely stay under 25 pounds. I’m a social pup who loves playing with other dogs and gets along with cats too. After all the fun, I turn into a total cuddlebug. Looking for a playful, loving companion? I might just be your perfect match!

Story
Ziggy is a little guy with a big personality. He loves being with his people and will happily follow them everywhere. He is always ready to cuddle, play ball in the backyard, go for walks, or ride along in the car. Ziggy is an active puppy who enjoys both his foster family and the other dogs in the home, and he will need an adopter who is home most of the day as well as another dog in the home. Ziggy has made tremendous progress in foster care, but he still needs continued work when meeting new people. He can be reactive and may even try to bite, especially if he is being held and someone approaches him, so he would not do well in an apartment setting. He will need a patient adopter committed to positive reinforcement, proper introductions, and continued training. He also does best with slow introductions to new dogs, but once comfortable, he is very playful and dog-friendly. His foster family has been working hard on his fearful and protective behaviors around strangers, and Ziggy continues to improve every day. He is a smart puppy who wants to please and has so much potential with the right guidance and structure. Ziggy is 8 months old, weighs 8.6 pounds, and we are guessing he is a Chihuahua/Yorkie mix. Any children in the home should be 13 years or older. If you are interested in adopting Ziggy, applications can be submitted at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours.
