Mega Mind is a sweet girl with hydrocephalus. She is not eligible for surgery yet. she is on medication and needs extra special care. She will only be available to a very special family who will be able to keep an eye on her almost all the time. Also, as of now she does have a shorter lifespan. Lady is a rescue dog we adopted from a vet who lived in Tennessee. She is 6 yrs old. Lady doesn’t like to be alone and she will follow you from room to room, waiting for you to sit down so she can come up and cuddle against you. She is quite the guard dog and will alert you to anyone or any thing that comes near your house or by your door. She has some anxiety and is scared of thunderstorms and firecrackers. She can become carsick on car trips. I have a new position that requires travel and my husband’s job is erratic. Lady doesn’t do well with being crated for long periods of time and she will pee in the crate when left for long hours. The 8-9+ hr work week is too much for her and we are hoping for a family that doesn’t require that crate time. We tried leaving her out but she chewed the blinds (costly). We have no children so we don’t know how she is with children over the long run.

    My name is Lee Liam.  I am guessed to be 1-2 year old Dachshund mix around 18 pounds.  I fit in nicely at my foster home and get along great with dogs both big and small. I like to play zoomies and play with toys and bones.  I am trying to learn how to not hog the attention, but I just want to have fun! I like both the teenagers I live with but I still bark at them every once in a while. Because of that I would probably do better in a home with older kids. I love my crate and a soft blanket and I sleep quietly through the night.  I am doing very well with potty training too! I am pretty sure I know what “no” means and do my best to avoid having to hear it said.  I am learning to walk on leash and do pretty good but it is still a little scary.    I am looking for a loving home where I can continue to learn how to be a great dog.  If you are looking for a very loving guy whose tail never stops wagging, choose me! Lemon and his brother Peach were rescued from a county animal control. We're glad they came to us so we can find them their forever home! Both puppies estimated birth date is 01/16/2024. Each puppy has an adoption fee of $330. Lemon has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. We actually have the two, Piglet the mother who is about four and Peanut the daughter about three. We got them from a shelter about two years ago but they really need more space and my wife and I are seniors with tight schedules and are unable to give them as much time outside and attention as they deserve. They are quite affectionate but rambunctious. Good with even small kids (including our granddaaughter who visits often) but not so with other dogs.
