We actually have the two, Piglet the mother who is about four and Peanut the daughter about three. We got them from a shelter about two years ago but they really need more space and my wife and I are seniors with tight schedules and are unable to give them as much time outside and attention as they deserve. They are quite affectionate but rambunctious. Good with even small kids (including our granddaaughter who visits often) but not so with other dogs.

    My name is Lee Liam.  I am guessed to be 1-2 year old Dachshund mix around 18 pounds.  I fit in nicely at my foster home and get along great with dogs both big and small. I like to play zoomies and play with toys and bones.  I am trying to learn how to not hog the attention, but I just want to have fun! I like both the teenagers I live with but I still bark at them every once in a while. Because of that I would probably do better in a home with older kids. I love my crate and a soft blanket and I sleep quietly through the night.  I am doing very well with potty training too! I am pretty sure I know what “no” means and do my best to avoid having to hear it said.  I am learning to walk on leash and do pretty good but it is still a little scary.    I am looking for a loving home where I can continue to learn how to be a great dog.  If you are looking for a very loving guy whose tail never stops wagging, choose me!
