He is very intelligent, very cuddly, very affectionate, and has a little bit of a stubborn streak! It takes Dax a while to warm up to people but when he is comfortable he shows his LOVE. He likes to explore outside in the yard, loves to play with toys, and chew on bones. He is literally attached to you if sitting on the couch. One of his favorite places to relax is a cat scoop (see picture)! He does great with other smaller dogs and cats. He has been working on his leash training and is potty trained on a schedule. Dax needs another dog, preferably smaller, in the home to help him gain confidence and would do better in a quiet household with no children or men, and a setting where he will not be left alone all day. He tends to get very attached to one woman in a family. If you love small, cuddly, long littles, he is the perfect companion for you. If you are a Dachshund lover, he is PERFECT. Anyone would be lucky to have Dax in their lives. He is a gentle soul with so much love to give. Additionally, our assessments of a dog's interactions with other dogs, cats, or children are based on OUR experiences. Your experience may differ.
