You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Kaycee is a sweet girl who loves her people completely. She is happy to be outside, if her people are with her. She should lose a few pounds to be her best self. She is not happy about being left alone. She is a goofy, affectionate gal who would like to be a lap dog. She is also a 'talker'. She does tend to speak her mind. She likes other dogs just fine, but people are really her thing. She does need to be let out often to go potty, but she is potty pad trained for overnight.  Kaycee is starting treatment for Cushing's disease ( oral meds) and is needing some procedures ( dental and mammary mass removal) before adoption so she is available for the foster-to-adopt program.  Kaycee is from Texas. Meet Oreo... his mom was rescued by our rescue partner in Puerto RIco right before she gave birth to Oreo (Piglet) and his siblings. They made their way to MN a couple weeks ago... Oreo has been in a home with kids and we have found that he would do best in a home without young children. He is a sweet and loving pup, crate trained, curious and good with cats, does good on his walks and loves to cuddle. If you would like to learn more about him please reach out. He is a lovebug!

Meet Rainbow Brite! She’s about 2 years old and weighs 20 pounds. She’s a happy, tail-wagging girl who absolutely loves to be near her humans. Her humans are her entire world. She loves women immediately. Men do scare her at first, but once she warms up she loves all her people equally. She's not fond of the chaos of a bunch of children, but calm, respectful children who give her space when she wants are fine. She has so much love and snuggles to give but doesn’t like to share affection with other dogs. She loves to shop and walks easily beside the cart at Walmart and Lowes. She's a great traveler, will sit on the seat, look out the window, and also lie in her crate after about an hour. She’s house trained and has good house manners. She walks great on a leash and doesn’t pull. She comes when called and is learning how to sit on command. I am a year old lowriding dachshund MIX :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Taquito is a gentle, sweet boy who is shy at first but once he comes out of his shell, he will shower you with love! He loves chin scratches, zooming outside, playing with plush toys, and snoozing. He does well with other dogs and will excitedly follow them around. He easily allows you to brush his long hair, especially if you give him some scratches behind his ears. He does well free-roaming the house and is potty pad trained but prefers to go potty in an enclosed yard. He is still learning to walk on a leash. When you are gone, he likes to just comfortably snooze in a plush bed and bring every one of his plush toys with him. He does bark on occasion, typically if he is just trying to get your attention or when very excited. He gobbles up his dry food and any treats you bring his way! Food, patience, compassion, and chin/ear scratches are the way to his heart!
