I am Rain. I am from Arkansas. From the foster: This is Rain! She is the sweetest, happiest girl, her tail is constantly wagging. Rain is a big snuggler and will cuddle up with you on the couch at the end of the day. She is also ready for any adventure, making her the best little companion. She has caught on quickly to crate training and house training. We have been working on basic commands with Rain such as "sit", "stay" and "leave it". She's a fast learner and very smart! We think Rain would do well as an only dog, but having a doggy friend in the home would be a bonus for her as she is a very social gal. This adorable, little lady will make a lucky family very happy. Hi! My name is Livvy and I am rescue from Arkansas and I have quickly stole my foster families' hearts. From the foster: Livvy, an adorable and inquisitive puppy, exudes playfulness and curiosity. Initially, upon arriving at our home, Livvy was calm and loving revealing her fun personality. She seems to be almost potty trained, having only one accident in her first week. Livvy does like to chew but can be refocused to her toys if she hasn't something that she shouldn't. While engaging in play, she occasionally nibbles on fingers. Introducing her to other dogs has not been an issue. She enthusiastically initiates play with our resident pitty but does some gentle, puppy nipping. Ideally, Livvy would do best in an active family setting with a yard, where her puppy energy can be channeled. Running around the yard and chasing our older dog makes her so happy. While she loves running and playing, she also loves a good cuddle on the couch. She is not a big fan of sleeping in her kennel at night but has done well sleeping in bed with our son.

I am Buster. I am from Alabama. From the foster: Buster, a spirited puppy, is incredibly affectionate and craves attention. He's bursting with puppy energy and adores playtime. Although his name is Buster, we have been calling him Scout since we felt that name better suited his upbeat personality. While he's nearly potty trained, there's a bit more work to do. He's also well-versed in kennel training and finds it more comforting with some background music. He does great with our Miniature Dachshund, but is still learning boundaries. He would ideally do best with another dog in the house that he can play with.

I am Flash. I am from Alabama. A few words from his foster : Flash is an adorable loving pup. He is working on potty training and is doing amazing! He can go 6+hours without accidents, but sometimes has a little accident if he is excited to see you. He is smart and eager to learn already mastering sit and a command to go to his "place" his bed. We are working on staying at his place right now. He is friendly with adults, kids, and dogs but sometimes can be a little vocal. Slow introductions are best. Flash loves walks, running through the leaves, and cuddles preferring to sleep in his human's lap. He would make a perfect addition to any family!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Mauricio is from Texas. He was brought into rescue from a hoarder/neglect situation. He is not used to a lot of human contact, and will bark at strangers.. but not aggressively, just a warning that he's uncomfortable in the current situation. His Texan foster family said it took about a day and a half for him to realize that they were the good guys, and now he just can't get enough pets! I'm going to let you in on a little secret.. the dogs that make you work for it?? they are loyal to you for life. This little man is going to be your new best friend.. and he's not going to let you forget it. He plays well with other dogs that are around his same size, but has not been tested with large dogs or cats. He is working on the whole potty training thing. Limiting his water and having a routine of scheduled potty breaks seems to be working for him, and if kept on a consistent routine once he gets here to Minnesota, he should be 100% potty trained in no time at all! Mauricio is kenneled at night, and does so without complaint. sleeping there through the night until his foster mom takes him on his 6:30am potty break. He is fed in his kennel as well as taking any high value treats there.
