Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
Karev is 5 years old. I got him from a chicken farm when he was just a puppy. He has always lived inside my house with my wife and 2 kids. He is house trained. We never have potty in the house issues out of him. Someone with experience should adopt him. He does not have any advanced training. He is not always good with strangers. Whoever adopts him should have patience with him. He also has a skin problem that we haven't ever been able to get completely under control. It is believed to be allergies. Nothing has ever really helped for long. He can be a good boy for someone with time to give him more training than I ever could. We are sad to see him go but I know someone out there will take him and help him live a long healthy life.

Story
Nina is a little shiny diamond-in-the-ruff. Her cuteness bursts out in a her prancey walk, sweet smiles, and adoration of toys! Once all her sniffing is done, she gets little silly playful spells and shows her youthful side. Tho a little bossy with some dogs, she can come around and play well with the right companion to teach her. This little beauty needs a home to give her just the right polish.   ~  Est DOB:  April 2016   ~  Est weight:  35#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 27, 2024, 12:26 am

Story
A dapper fella with a charming half-tail, Tucker is a chill guy with a live-and-let-live attitude. He bonds tightly to his person once they've shown themselves worthy. A safe and quiet life is at the top of this boy's want list. Then he can really open up and show his fun side, which includes an adorable play bow! He likes playing with female dogs but is a grump with other males.  ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2011 ~  Est weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 27, 2024, 12:26 am

Story
If you like to set up obstacle courses on your 'back 40' and want a dog able to compete alongside you...Katrina has you covered! Katrina is fearless and limitless when it comes to jumping, climbing, walking a balance beam, or anything really that is between 'Katrina' and 'where Katrina wants to be.' In return for your really, really great fence or commitment to leash walks, you get a constantly-wiggling, super-loving girl with a fantastic smile and a world-class head tilt. She also enjoys water sports - got a hose or water gun? She'll entertain herself and you nonstop!! - and car rides. Katrina loves all people but precisely zero non-people (she is a devoted only pet with no dog park potential at all). Please contact the shelter if Katrina sounds like your next BFF.      ~  Est DOB: Nov 2014  ~  Intake weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 27, 2024, 12:26 am

Story
Yeah yeah, he shares a name with that famous book dog. But unlike him, our Marley is past the puppy nonsense and already has his basic manners and play skills down pat (well...keeping it real...he can't catch worth anything!). But just like that other Marley, our boy is looking for that home that will stay true, through thick or thin, for better or worse.  ~  Est DOB: May 2014 ~  Est weight:  60#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlMay 27, 2024, 12:26 am
