Looking for a dog who’s equal parts strength, charm, and mischief? Meet Rambo, an Akita mix who will keep you laughing and on your toes. This handsome powerhouse is full of personality. He's confident, clever, and ready to rule your heart (and probably your house). Rambo is a born leader and needs a confident, experienced handler who appreciates a dog with a big presence. He’s loves to show off his smarts — especially if there are treats or toys involved! With his goofy grin and harmless “gotcha” moments, Rambo’s trickster spirit will keep life fun as long as you remember to reinforce the rules. Rambo prefers to be your one-and-only, having the spotlight all to himself. If you’re confident, active, and ready to team up with a dog who’s equal parts strength, smarts, and silliness, Rambo might just be your perfect match. Not good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Candy has a unique look - unless you count her nearly identical sisters! These distinctive girls have ears the better to hear you with and tails that act like rudders when they run - and they are built to run, athletic and active. Intelligent and sensitive, the girls are overwhelmed at the confusing shelter and need time to understand new situations. Having been abandoned and on their own, they are just cautious like that. Candy is a bit more of a free thinker than her sisters. She knows what she wants, and while mostly she wants treats, she also wants some independence. She is the last one to learn 'sit' (didn't wanna!), but does walk nicely on leash and crates up when asked. She is more ready to explore and do her thing. Still, she wants to enter into a fair relationship with new people who are respectful and looking for a partner, not a baby. She has struggled to make new dog friends at the shelter, mainly because of the environment - she has been fine in less stressful situations. Story
Fonzie is a fun-loving, toy-obsessed dinosaur in a dog’s body who absolutely loves people but has zero interest in sharing the spotlight with other animals. He’s got a vocal range that could rival a T-Rex, making a funny squawk when he’s excited. When he’s not making noise, you’ll find him happily splashing around in his water bucket, living his best life. He may have some manners to work on to slide into civilization, but with his charm and energy, he’s guaranteed to keep you on your toes! Story
Gilbert is a charming boy ready for a fresh start in life! At first, Gilbert might be a little shy (new faces can be scary when you haven’t always known kindness), but don’t let that fool you! Gilbert warms up quickly and once he does, his personality shines. Give him a few treats and a little patience, and you’ll have a happy, playful boy who just wants to be close to his people. After a long day of playing with his favorite human and toy, Gilbert is happy to curl up beside you. Gilbert would do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself and and show just how special he is.
