Story
Tequila came to our home when she was just 3 months old through a Facebook post. We decided to adopt her because my daughters wanted a puppy, and we adults also wanted one, so we took advantage of the opportunity. She's a very affectionate, playful, and gentle dog. She loves playing with children and, of course, adults. She has a lot of energy, being a mix between a 6-month-old puppy and a Husky/Labdog. The commands she understands are in Spanish, but she's very intelligent and can adapt quickly to any language. She loves eating apples and any kind of treat; she's a pure kibble puppy and is still losing her baby teeth. She likes having her belly rubbed. However, we realized that this specific breed of dog needs at least 2 hours a day to burn off some of its energy. We work between 8 and 12 hours a day and realized that she spends too much time indoors.

He is a really good dog. Afraid of people but gets to warm up when people are gentle. He knows few tricks like sit, go,stay. He is playful. He never creates mess in the house as he is housetrained. He is gentle and adorable. He is also energetic but also gets tired easily. He is 3 years old but he still thinks he is puppy and likes to lay in laps. He loves his belly rubs

Story
Lakota was born here in Edmonton and was a rescue. He's a 7 year old German Shepherd dog who still has plenty of energy and play in them. Lakota really loves melon, cantaloupe and carrots as his favorites especially cantaloupe. I'm looking to find Lakota a home where he has space to run, has yo be stable household or at least have someone who's very physically active and patient. He's well behaved on walks although he likes to say hello very loudly untill given attention by new people and dogs. Lakota is okay with most dogs given some time. He does get anxious on car rides however after sometime he either passes out is calmed down with snack. He'll give you kisses till you can't handle no more, and does his best to give hugs.

Story
We took this beautiful girl in in what was supposed to be a temporary situation when she needed a place to go 6 months ago. She’s approximately 1 yrs old & we are unsure of her breed mix. She’s a sweet girl who is fully house trained & crate trained although we would have no problem trusting her to roam free if she was the only dog in the house. She loves to be outside. She has good energy but also knows how to chill. She Loves her toys & a frozen kong. She’s very food motivated. She’s also had some professional training and knows how to sit, stay, paw, heal, etc. Unfortunately we are looking to rehome as she is not getting along with our other female dog in the home. We don’t want to have to crate her all day. She most likely would do best as the only dog in the house. We are unsure of how she would be with children as she has never been around them. We love her and don’t want to see her go. She deserves the best home. Will be spayed end of June. The rehome fee will be paid to rescue.

Story
We’re looking to find a good home for Winter, our 2ish year old borzoi/maremma/Great Pyrenees mix , spayed and fully up to date on vaccines. Clean bill of health. We adopted her from the humane society back in November 2024. Winter is a lazy, gentle, big goofball who becomes incredibly sweet once she trusts you. She can be nervous and bark at first with new people and animals, so she needs someone who really understands dogs, patience, and working with shy/ nervous pups. Winter’s ideal home would be with someone who understands she needs time to warm up to strangers, cats and small dogs (not good with big dogs). We are willing to drive anywhere in AB, and pay for her pet insurance for 3 months after rehoming and willing to do a trial run

Story
Alfie is the most amazing, gentle, loving dog. He loves cuddles. He could sit beside you all day if you let him. Due to our son’s medical diagnosis, we have no choice but to rehome our sweet boy. He may be 12 but you’d never know! Although he plays well with other small dogs, I know he’ll want to be in a home with no other pets where he can be the only pampered pup. He has grown up with our 7 and 3 year old and has been nothing but amazing with them. He is fully house trained. He is not crate trained and does enjoy free rein around the house. He would love to sleep in his own bed in your room if you’d allow it. He just wants to be close to people. He loves to be chased around the yard and loves his back and tummy scratches
