Hey everyone it breaks my heart that I have to rehome my dog. She is a two year old full blooded shnauzer she is loving and caring once she gets to know you , she is very playful the only problem is she is aggressive to other people other than me and my family. She had never bitten anyone but she will try to. It breaks my heart not able to keep her but if someone willing to work with her through her behavioral problem I think she would make a wonderful Pet. I have a one year old and cant have her around her or my husband. Im not asking for a rehoming fee just for someone that will take their time with her and love her and not just dump her in the streets. I want the pound to be the last resort. She is an amazing dog please give her a chance I’m not ready to take her to the pound so they can get rid of her. She deserves another chance since I wasn’t able to give her one. She’s ready for a loving home.

Miss Allie is an Active girl that needs attention on a day to day basis. She is spayed, can follow commands of sit, lay down, and wait for food. She will follow you if she is off leash and will return if let run in an open field. She is calm after physical activity and likes to take long naps in a comfy bed. I am pursing my career as a fire fighter and do not have the time available to attend to Miss Allie and her needs, which she deserves. Preferably as an only pet would she do best. She can be around other dogs but does growl when she feels she is the smaller dog in the room. Or if another dog is too energetic, she can loose her patience after a period of time. She got into a fights when she was younger but we spayed her and she was a bit more calm. She does have a tendency to growl at other pets around her personal space. She is a great protector and has a bark on her. She loves going on walks and playing fetch. All n all, looking for a loving home to give her attention.

Hi, there. I'm Frankie! Sometimes I'm called Little Franks or Frankfurter. I'm told that I'm such a nice girl and that I give the sweetest little kisses. I may be biased, but I agree. I love getting pets and attention from the humans around here and I especially love playing with all my pup friends. Sometimes I can get a little pester-y with my buds though and the humans tell me to settle down; I just get so excited to play with my friends that I forget. I love playing with leaves and hopping around with a ball. I love sharing my leaves and balls with my buds, but if I have food, I don't really want my buds around. I'm learning how to walk on a leash (which I'm getting pretty good at!), and I know sit, down, and not to potty in my kennel, and I'm practicing my placing skills real hard! My dream forever family would be one that is very playful and full of love! And lots of treats, that's a must as well.

Bubbles came to us on Giving Tuesday 2023 from the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center. Hi! I'm Bubbles. I'm one-third of the Powerpuff Girl's Trio! I love hangin with the other girls. We just play and play! Sometimes we get a little too crazy with our toys (and sometimes our beds and blankies even) and they end up getting torn up. So the humans got us some tough toys, but those aren't as fun as the stuff that tears apart! So, now we gotta be supervised with anything soft. But I love the humans too! Sometimes I can be scared when I'm picked up or touched, but then I come to realize "it's okay, these people are nice to me." But I still can get nervous about it. I love jumping up and giving kisses to the humans. And if one of the other girls is gets pets, then of course I gotta scoot in and get some too! I'm hoping to go to a family that will be caring and patient with me, a family that will keep me busy/active, and give plenty of cuddles!

Calliope came to us from Kern County Animal Services on March 29, 2024. She is a 5 year old Belgian Malinois mix. Hi, I'm Calliope! Some of the humans here have difficulty pronouncing that, so they usually just call me Calli! I love being around the people here, they say I have some "attachment issue" but I don't see an issue with it. I just always want to see what they're doing and hang around them all the time; so I bark a bit and I've even broken out of a couple crates to try to keep track of the humans. But they keep working on getting me more independent. I'm not a fan. But I'm getting used to it little by little. I enjoy playing with some of my dog friends here (I don't like sharing my food or toys with them though) and laying in the sun and watching the humans, of course. I've been working on basic commands like sit and down as well as leash training and place training, and they say I'm pretty darn good at those! Anyways, I'm going to go continue practicing being an independent lady, wish me luck!
