Story
Bridger is currently in foster with another dog and a child. Bridger knows sit and takes treats gently. He is crate, potty and house trained. He enjoys daily walks and lounging around the house afterwards. When we picked Bridger up from the shelter, he had been shot through his left ear. Since with the rescue, he has had surgery, which helped. His ear will need continued daily maintenance (cleaning and medicated drops) to avoid future infections and/or surgery. Bridger is a big loving guy that is ready for a smooth transition to his forever home. He is available for short term foster to adopt as well. He throughly enjoys being outside and does best meeting other dogs off leash in a controlled and neutral environment. After meeting another dog he can walk on leash next to them. Courage is a handsome boy still searching for the right person or people to give him a fulfilling life. He was in board and train, and is now truly a well-behaved dog. He knows sit, down, stay, wait, place and come when called. Since he is a larger and stronger breed, he's looking for a family that can give him plenty of land to stretch his legs and give him mental and physical stimulation. Courage needs a confident handler that is willing to give him the proper amount of time to adjust to a new environment, new people and new situations. He is still working on socializing with people other than his fosters. Courage is available for short-term foster to adopt or adoption with a trial period. Bakersfield, CA
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Angelica is an estimated 8 years old and 49 pounds. She is on 2 pain prescriptions for her severe arthritis and has had surgery for some growth removals. When we picked her up from the shelter she was still emaciated and healing from a deep wound. She is now in good health and at a proper weight. She gets along with other dogs even though she doesn't play as much as some. She does better out of a crate so that she can stretch her legs whenever needed. She can catch on to a potty routine if consistent and given the time to adjust to the new schedule. She loves to lay down next to you and would follow you around if you let her. She's a sweetheart that likes to trot around the yard and roll around on her back in the grass. Angelica is available for adoption to someone or a family that wants to care for her and love on her for the rest of her life.
