Story
Meet Bowdie! 🐾 He is a 1.5-year-old neutered male who is up to date on all vaccinations and looking for his forever home. Bowdie is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being around his people. He enjoys snuggling, long walks, car rides, trips to the beach, and visiting dog-friendly bars and patios. He has a fun, adventurous personality and loves being included in family activities.Bowdie has completed two training courses, and I have worked with him consistently since adopting him over a year ago. he would do best with an active owner who is willing to continue his training. The reason I am rehoming Bowdie is that he has not adjusted well to living with my cats despite time, training, and patience. He would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. This is a difficult decision, and my priority is finding Bowdie a loving, responsible home where he can thrive.

Story
Flynn is about 8 years old. He is a cancer survivor. He had a large tumor removed from his skin near his hip. He is smart. He lives to play fetch, especially in the water. He loves to swim. He will come both his favorite toys. Unfortunately, Flynn hates the vet. We can no longer keep him because he has bitten people, including me. He appears to have an area on his back that is a trigger for bites. I was brushing him and must have hit a painful spot when he bit me. He has loved with other dogs with no issues. He is a vigilant alarm. With the opportunity to run and roam, he has a few good years left. I am sad to give him up. It is best for us both.

Story
Scooby is 2yr 9mo old. He is said to be a Lab/Pitbull/Doberman mix. Scooby is a friendly, loving dog who gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children. He has no allergies, medical conditions, or medications. He has a moderate energy level and would thrive in a home with a large fenced yard. Scooby knows commands including sit, stay, paw, lay, wait, and okay. He loves being outside and going on walks, but he definitely still needs some leash training. He can get pretty excited and distracted when he’s outside, so listening isn’t always his strong suit and he tends to pull. I’ve found that he does best with a harness. Since he’s still young, he can be a little mouthy when he’s excited and will gently nibble on my hands or arms while playing, but he never bites down hard. He’s a super sweet dog and loves attention, cuddles, and being around people. He just needs someone who is willing to continue working with him and give him plenty of exercise and consistency while he matures.

Story
Meet Mini, a 4-year-old mama dog whose greatest wish is finally having a family of her own. Mini was found behind an abandoned school in Puerto Rico with her puppies, doing everything she could to keep them safe. With little shelter and no one looking out for them, life was incredibly difficult. Despite the odds, Mini never gave up on her babies. Thankfully, rescue stepped in and gave this deserving family a second chance.

Since then, Mini has spent many months in a loving foster home, learning that she no longer has to worry about survival. Her puppies have grown, and now it is finally Mini's turn to be cared for.

She has blossomed into an incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate dog who loves being close to her people. After years of putting everyone else first, Mini is discovering how wonderful it feels to receive love in return. She has adapted beautifully to life in a home and is working on being house trained. Mini is happiest when she is curled up nearby, soaking up attention and companionship. Mini has all the qualities that make a wonderful family dog. She is calm, loving, grateful, and eager to be part of a family. She carries herself with a quiet sweetness that makes everyone who meets her fall in love.

She is currently in Puerto Rico but is ready to travel to either a foster home or her forever home in the States, whichever opportunity comes first. Transportation is included in her adoption fee. Mini spent years being a devoted mother and protector. Now she deserves a chance to simply be someone's beloved dog. She has done the hard part. All she needs now is a family willing to give her the happy ending she has waited so patiently for.

Story
Meet Brunson - The Big Hearted. At just 2 years old and 25 pounds, Brunson is proof that some dogs are born with hearts too big for the world they've been given. Brunson was abandoned behind a government building in Puerto Rico, where he spent over a month trying to survive on his own. The wooded area behind the building was home to packs of other dogs, and because Brunson is naturally so friendly, he constantly tried to make friends. Sadly, many of those encounters ended with him being attacked. Again and again, he approached other dogs with a wagging tail, never understanding why they didn't want to play.

Today, Brunson is living in foster care in Puerto Rico, and he has blossomed into the sweetest companion imaginable. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he's curled up next to his people. He's a laid-back, sleepy boy who would much rather spend the afternoon cuddling on the couch than causing any trouble. He loves everyone he meets and gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. His foster describes him as the kind of dog who simply wants to love and be loved.

After everything he's been through, Brunson deserves a family that will never leave him behind again. He is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and is available for adoption throughout the United States. Transportation to his forever home is included in his adoption fee.

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate best friend with a heart of gold, Brunson is waiting patiently to meet you.
