Story
Roscoe is a wonderful dog that just needs help medically and I can’t keep him. I recently moved into a new place that does not allow animals and he needs a good home. His paws are turning red and he’s itching them a lot. I live a very busy schedule I hate losing him, but I have no choice so I want him to be with someone that will give him the care and attention. He deserves

Story
My 14 year old dog "Jack" passed about 4 months ago. To fill the hole in my heart, I started volunteering at the local animal shelter, walking dogs and cleaning cages. One day I saw the most adorable puppy, "Charlie" and I decided to adopt him. I soon realized that I bit off more than I could chew. I love Charlie, but, I am 61 years old. I live alone in a mobile park with no yard. Charlie needs more love and exercise that I can provide for him. Charlie need a large yard, a large family, lots of love and lots of exercise and walks. I don't have the heart to take Charlie back to the shelter and I am looking to find him the right home. I may take a day or 2 to make a decision.Charlie is house broken and very sweet.

Story
This is Scooter and he is the sweetest boy. He is a four-year old long-haired dachshund and, as most dachshunds do, loves attention and belly rubs. He is very smart and listens to his commands ("Come here", "Go Outside", "Sit") but he can be ornery when left alone in the house. For example, peeing in corners and digging through bathroom trash cans. He is a larger dog (about 25 lbs) but I have the paperwork to show that he is a full bred miniature dachshund. He loves a car ride and is very cuddly. He has a loud bark which sounds aggressive but I wouldn't say he's aggressive, it just takes him a minute to warm up to other animals. He grew up around other dogs and children and has had no issues with aggression.Whenever we leave the house, he has to go in a cage because of his orneriness. I unfortunately am traveling more than I was in recent years and do not have the capacity to give him the love that he so deserves.

Story
Hi - My name is Kali.I LIKE: gentle attention, taking my time to explore, and being around people who help me feel safe. I’m a sweet girl who is still getting used to shelter life.I KNOW: I’m only 1 year old, and sometimes new places and experiences can make me a little unsure. Give me some patience and encouragement, and I’ll start finding my brave side.IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE: gentle, sweet, and ready to build confidence with you, I could be your girl. I’d love someone who will let me settle in at my own pace.I AM SPECIAL BECAUSE: there’s still a puppy underneath my shy side just waiting to come out. As I get more comfortable and learn that the world isn’t so scary, I have a feeling you’ll start seeing more and more of my happy, playful personality.
