This pup needs an active lifestyle for both his mind and his body. A gentle boy. Affectionate. Responsive and respectful. Not a mean bone in his body, even when another dog takes his bone right out of his mouth! Champ is a leader, yet when he meets a new person he can be shy at first. We took him to Lowe's for an adventure. He was perfect! He pranced with his head up high, obeying every command. Knowing this dog has been a fantastic experience for each employee here.

Story
Dixie is a beautiful beagle! We are not too busy to keep her - we believe she needs more space to be happy. She lived for 6 years with an older lab. When her sweet sister passed away last year, she just wanted to escape. She needs more room to explore. She digs out of our fence, goes into the preserve to explore (think Mangroves) and comes back the next morning. Because the preserve is dangerous with coyotes and other animals, we put in regular fence, a fence with iron bars, chicken wire, rocks (to prevent digging) and larger items to deter her getting through. These haven’t worked and we are worried for her safety. We believe she needs a bigger space to run and will pay to help her get re-homed with a loving family. It is heart breaking but we would be devastated if anything happened to her! Thank you!
