Story

Remy is a loving, silly Great Dane who doesn’t quite realize how big he is. He’s a classic lazy Dane who loves relaxing and being close to his people. His goofy personality makes us laugh, and he has been wonderful with our three young children and cats. He is deeply loved, and we are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for him. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get along with our other dog and needs a home where he is the only dog. We’ll discuss his history and the circumstances openly with anyone interested. We’re hoping to find a loving family who will appreciate his sweet, silly personality and give him the care and companionship he deserves.

Rico is a 7 year old Golden Retriever/German Shepard/Weimaraner mix. He loves playing fetch, tug toys, basking in the sun, running around the yard, and hanging out with his humans. Rico would do best in a calm home environment that is cat free. A fenced in yard - even if it is small - would be ideal. Apartment living was fine for Rico as a puppy, but caused a lot of stress as he got older. Rico gets along with most dogs and loves to play. We have made our very best effort to create an integrated household between Rico and our cat, but Rico hasn’t made major improvements. With this dynamic and our work schedules, our goal is to do what is best for both pets, as much as it pains us to have reached this decision. We look forward to connecting with potential adopters.We have a sitter that Rico goes to stay with during vacations and what not. Happy to share their information if it’s needed.

Gunner is a sweet 9-pound rat terrier mix with a handsome white coat and an adorable black-and-tan face. He may be small, but he has plenty of personality—and he is happiest when he is right by his person’s side! Gunner is a loyal, affectionate one-person dog who loves nothing more than curling up in your lap. He follows his person everywhere and is always ready to head out the door for an adventure. He knows his name, stays close to home, and doesn’t wander far. Gunner loves walks, car rides, and playing fetch. In fact, he absolutely loves going in the car—every time the car door opens, Gunner thinks it’s an invitation and jumps right in! He is always ready to go wherever his person is headed. He is also quite the little athlete and can jump surprisingly high, so his forever home will need to be mindful of his impressive jumping skills! He enjoys playing fetch, although he sometimes thinks the best part of the game is keeping the ball for himself. Gunner gets along well with other dogs and has no problem sharing his space with canine friends. He also does well with a crate and goes in willingly. At night, he enjoys sleeping in the bedroom near Gunner is looking for a forever home where he can be loved, included, and cherished as someone’s special companion. If you are looking for a small, loving, loyal little shadow who would love nothing more than to be your lap dog, walking buddy, and car-riding companion, Gunner may be the perfect match! Please read all: Tank is a big sweetheart, considering rehoming him is a decision we did not come to easily. He is 11 months old, 74lbs. We unfortunately are struggling with maintaining an environment comfortable for him, as he has bilateral elbow dysplasia, and our home requires stairs and has porcelain floors. My husband has also developed severe allergies to tank. We decided to have a surgical procedure done to help improve outcomes and would like him to be in a home that would be comfortable for his needs and with a loving family. He’s very friendly, and despite his condition, playful and energetic. He loves other dogs, tug of war and chewing on his bones and toys (luckily not a chewer of things that are not his). He does take medication daily, and daily walks are fairly short because he does have days where he limps more than others. We did 12 hours of private training working on basic commands, socialization and leash etiquette. He is house and crate trained,

Story

Macie Faye is 4.5 years old, a very playful, loving, and emotional dog. She is anxious, and doesn't know how to react to other animals from a distance. We have had her in close proximity with other dogs with very minimal issues, but on walks she gets a bit reactive when she can't run up and play. Her anxiety is a bit confusing at times, she usually is very nervous and she has minor skin allergies which for the most part can be relieved by giving her frequent baths (I recommend at least 2 times a month.) Other than that, she is practically perfect. She grew up with cats, she knows basic training, and is very friendly and loving once you get to know her. She has no history of violence, has always been vocal but never aggressive, I don't even think I have ever heard her growl before. Mostly just barking, yowling, crying, very Pitsky noises.She would do well with lots of space to run around, plenty of attention, and probably another pet to play with. ❤️
