Story
Update: 11/04/25 Chopper would like to speak - I have been with 3 UYR Fosters now on my long road trip and all I keep hearing is that I am such a sweet little boy and it's easy to fall in love with me right away. Awww........I am very affectionate, love to be near my human and I like to cuddle with her when we sleep. I am a very good eater, which is a good thing, as I am much too skinny and they are trying to put some weight on me. I have gained a pound! Yippee! I get along well with the resident senior dog. My only little quirk is that I won't walk on the leash. If I could talk, I could tell you why, but foster Mom is just figuring it might be lack of experience. So she is slowly working with me to help me like doing that. I am going in this week for my neuter, dental and pedicure. Once I heal from that, I will be ready to rock n' roll my way to you. I know I am a senior, but I am a spunky little guy and if you welcome me into your home and heart, I promise I will love and cherish you for the rest of my life.

Story
Update: 11/04/25 Tyson has enjoyed a very happy and loving journey in the short time he was rescued from the shelter after his Mommy passed away and, sadly, no one wanted him. It's hard to imagine that someone wouldn't want this sweet and darling little man. He loves to be near his human, is very affectionate, gets along well with foster mom's resident senior dog, eats well, sleeps well and is housebroken. He does have a little incontinence during the night so he sleeps with a belly band - other than that - no accidents. He will let you know when he wants to go out and walks nicely on the leash. He didn't know how to do his business in the grass but because he is a smart boy and a fast learner, he is starting to go in the grass. He had even been afraid of the stairs and now prances up the stairs like a young dog! Tyson has been to the vet and has stage one kidney disease, so he will be going on a kidney diet. His blood work is pretty good, some highs and lows, but considering the neglect he has endured, he is doing quite well. Tyson needs a dental in a big way but vet is waiting until he is on the kidney diet for a couple of weeks, along with antibiotics and then will reassess. After his nasty, infected mouth is healed, it can also stabilize his blood levels. That's what we know for now and if you are wanting to give a mellow, calm and loving senior boy a good home, he promises to love and cherish you for the rest of his life. Will you be the one?

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Action Jackson – The Chill Companion You’ve Been Waiting For Despite his action-packed name, Action Jackson is more of a laid-back homebody than a thrill-seeker. This 9.5-year-old hound/lab/mutt mix is all about the simple pleasures—quiet afternoons, leisurely walks, and lounging with his people. Personality & Lifestyle Jackson is calm, polite, and dog-friendly. He enjoys meeting people and is great with older kids, though cats are still an unknown. He’s not the type to chase tennis balls for hours, but he will happily keep you company while you sip coffee or work in the garden. Training & Habits He’s crate trained, house-trained, and while he doesn’t know formal commands, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner. He’s not overly treat-motivated but will happily accept the occasional canned food snack. The Perfect Match If you’re looking for a relaxed, loyal friend who values companionship over constant activity, Jackson could be your guy. He’s healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Adoption Details Jackson is adoptable through The London Sanctuary. Story
ADOPT ME NOW PLEASE!!! Unfortunately my current owner cannot keep me and my only alternative is I will be euthanized. My ideal home would be one lady and one patient male or two females. I was abused by my previous male owner but im trying to like men. I love to run so a yard or acreage would suit me perfectly. I know commands and im a good boy taking a bath. I have gotten better with the pups here but I dont know my strength and I scare them. Lots of people and motorcycles make me very anxious and upset, so a home that has very little traffic would be awesome. I am crate trained, do not have destructive behaviors, and I have anxiety issues so I want to be with you all the time. I promise to protect you. Did I mention I love snuggles? Please adopt me I would be your greatest xmas present!
