Story
Kris came to FLUFF in early December from the Florida/Georgia line after spending her life as a stray. She and several other dogs were cared for by a kind Good Samaritan who made sure they had food, water, and what shelter he could provide. When he sadly passed away, a group of compassionate people stepped in to ensure these pups were safe and ultimately placed with rescues where they could have a chance at forever homes. Until coming to FLUFF, Kris had likely never been handled, and the comforts of a domesticated life are still new and sometimes scary for her. With time and patience in her foster home, she has begun to blossom. She absolutely adores her furry siblings, has discovered that soft couches and cozy beds are actually pretty wonderful, and is learning that sitting quietly near her humans can be a nice thing, too. Kris is still unsure about leashes and too much petting or affection, and that’s okay—she’s learning at her own pace. She will need a calm, patient home with another confident, friendly dog to help guide her and show her the ropes. Her ideal human understands that trust takes time and is happy to let Kris simply be part of the family from a distance at first, with no pressure or expectations. Kris may never be a fully “typical” dog—and that’s perfectly okay. What she offers is something just as special: a gentle soul who deserves safety, kindness, and the chance to live life on her own terms, surrounded by love. 💕 https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Story
There’s a reason we call her *Annabelle Grace*. She carries herself with quiet dignity and a softness that instantly draws you in. Her mornings start with enrichment — snuffle mats and puzzles keep her mind sharp. A gentle walk follows, where she shows off her excellent leash manners. Afterward, she’s happy to relax, whether crated with a peanut-butter Kong or snoozing near her people. She’s not clingy, but her gentle gaze makes it clear how much she loves. Annabelle loves pupsicles, car rides, and even a trip to the shops. She’s a loyal companion who prefers older kids and would thrive in a home where her sweetness can shine. Ready to welcome a queen into your home? Annabelle is waiting! 🐾👑   If you would like to meet me, please complete an online questionnaire and one of our adoption counselors will be reaching out to see if I will be a good fit for you and your home.  https://www.fluffanimalrescue.org/adoption-application My adoption fee includes my sterilization, microchip and registration, all core vaccines to date, dewormer and 1st month's Flea and Heartworm Preventatives. Story
Lisa has mastered the art of soft entry. Emotionally, she eases into your life with this calm, gentle presence that somehow feels familiar almost immediately. Lisa came to Fluff Animal Rescue after her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She arrived with Mona, believed to be her mother, and while the two girls get along beautifully, Lisa does not need to be adopted as part of a pair. At approximately 5 years old, Lisa has that perfect middle-ground energy. She’s playful and interactive without acting like she drank four espresso shots before breakfast. In the studio, she was affectionate, engaged, social, and refreshingly balanced. Story
Who is having a Big Mack Attack? Meet Big Mack. This spunky, 8 year old low rider is a curious, adorable guy who loves to play fetch, roll around in the yard and explore and after christening every outdoor area, this boy has the Michael Jackson moonwalk down. If you know, you know. He also loves a good nap under a nice fan. He’s up for aligning with whatever energy you have. Big Mack is house broken, has been crate trained and is well mannered in the car. He is UTD on his vaccines and neutered. He enjoys exploring the outdoors on leash walks and/or in the yard. Big Mack prefers a home with no young children and he doesn’t like to share his food or be rushed by others.

Story
Adoption Fee Generously Sponsored by Do Like Raleigh Roo Foundation. Noel has been waiting for his forever home at Fluff Animal Rescue since January 2024. His story began with heartbreak, but his resilience and joyful spirit have made him an unforgettable dog. Noel was discovered abandoned in a bag in the parking lot of the Hernando County Fire Department. The firefighters who found him quickly realized he had suffered significant injuries, including a severely damaged eye, broken teeth, and painful asphalt burns. Due to the extent of the injury, one of Noel's eyes had to be removed. But don't tell Noel he's different. Despite everything he has been through, Noel lives life to the fullest. He loves playing fetch, going for walks, snuggling with his favorite people, and enjoying all the things dogs love most. His favorite toys are squeaky toys, and there's nothing cuter than seeing Noel proudly look up at you with a toy in his mouth, hoping you'll join in the fun. Noel is an active, intelligent dog who would thrive with an active adopter who can provide kind, confident leadership. He's smart, highly treat-motivated, and already knows commands like "sit" and "down." He enjoys learning and would love a family that will continue helping him build on his skills. Noel gets along wonderfully with medium to large dogs, but he is not a match for homes with cats, small dogs, or young children. If you're looking for a loyal companion who is smart, active, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy, Noel may be the perfect dog for you. After everything he's overcome, Noel is more than ready to find the loving forever home he deserves!
