Story
Lily is a very well behaved girl that needs a home that's child free. We had a baby 11 months ago and despite our best efforts she's just not liking having a baby around. She loves other animals, going to dog parks, playing tug, getting 2 walks a day, getting pets and lots of affection. She's very athletic and loves going on hikes and chasing the fastest dogs at the dog park - she's very playful. She's never shown any aggression towards other animals. A perfect home for her would include another dog to keep her company. She seems quite depressed with us a lot of the time because shes home alone while we're at work and now the baby takes the remainder of our time. She's fully vaccinated and spayed. She is a good eater and follows basic commands well. She's 4 years, 10 months old.

We adopt only to the Florida counties of Manatee, Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Sarasota. To inquire, please email: InquiryForNewHorizonDogRescue@gmail.com. Please include your name and phone number for quickest response. Born: Nov 28, 2023 Microchipped Heartworm Negative Crate Trained Leash Trained Basic Commands Clever Champ is above and beyond in agility, intelligence and swiftness to learn. This pup needs an active lifestyle for both his mind and his body. A gentle boy. Affectionate. Responsive and respectful. Not a mean bone in his body, even when another dog takes his bone right out of his mouth! Champ is a leader, yet when he meets a new person he can be shy at first. We took him to Lowe's for an adventure. He was perfect! He pranced with his head up high, obeying every command. Knowing this dog has been a fantastic experience for each employee here.

Story
Meet Dashing Dave! This muffin of love has stolen hearts all over Pinellas County and beyond! He’s full of charisma, goofiness, love and just a little bit more “robust” than he should be. The extra pounds have gone directly to his booty, but he has zero problem getting that up in your lap for some sugar!! He is a hoot!! Dave is always up for a good time, which means dashing in and out of his kiddie pool for fun, running about with a toy, bamboozling for treats and chasing his humans around for lovin’! Dave’s “official weight” is 67.5lbs but with that face, those eyes, and his pearly whites, we admit we have fallen hard for his charm, passing out treats like a pez dispenser! His foster pawrents adore him and are working hard on his fitness regime! Dave is about 4-yrs old and very pup and cat friendly; he honestly tries to make friends with everyone it seems! We even witnessed him trying to meet up with a cow! His happy-go-lucky personality is infectious and will bring joy to any family! Our adoption process includes a home visit and veterinarian and/or personal check. Safe Paws Rescue is a small rescue in St. Petersburg, FL so we accept inquiries from residents in Pinellas County only, please.
