Story
Beau is a sweet and loving Catahoula Sheppherd mix with a lot of energy. He need a home that can give him all the love an attention he needs and the ability to run and take lots of walks. He's had experience with other animals and young kids and done well in all scenarios, but is a puppy, so keep that in mind. He does have anxiety in new situations and with new people, but with time and love he adapts well. He is allergic to chicken and potentially beef, so he's on a seafood only kibble diet.

Story
ADOPTION PENDING! Sal is a sweet boy who is definitely laid back and easy going. If you are looking for an easy and sweet dog, you would love him.. We believe he would do best in a home as an only dog. He recently graduated from the prison training program at Hardee Correctional Institution, so he knows all of his basic commands (sit, lie down, stay, wait, come on recall, etc.). Not only that, but Sal was chosen as Top Dog in his training class! His racing name was Athlacca Salah. He raced in Ireland in 24 races, and won 6 times. He is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations and will come to you with a leash and collar and his bed, We have found that Sal has some sleep aggression issues, (he might snap if another dog, cat, or a person touches him while he is asleep) so that is why we are looking for a home for him as an only dog. He gets along with small dogs as well as larger dogs when he meets them out walking. Sal also walks beautifully on a leash. Sal is in beautiful condition. You will love him. Please call or e-mail us for an appointment to meet Sal. (813-935-3247 or BAGA@tampabay.rr.com) He is currently in the Tampa area. (For more information about the prison training program please go to www.bayareagreyhounds.org and click on Prison Trained Greyhounds.

Story
Joe is a wonderful dog who originally came to us from Ireland. He is a graduate of the Greyhound Advancement Center's training program at Hardee Correctional Institution. While he was there he was taught all of his basic commands (sit, down, stay, wait at the door, come on recall etc.) He is a medium sized greyhound boy at 76 lbs, and has a beautiful, shiny black coat. Joe is also neutered, fully vacccinated, and comes with a collar and lead. He has been in a home as a pet for the past year, so he is already home acclimated.. Joe is in need of a new home since his owner has broken her arm, so can no longer walk him. Joe is great with other greyhounds and similar sized dogs, but would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats. He would also love a fenced yard. In Ireland, Joe raced 13 times but did not win any races and was retired. His current owner describes Joe as a "wonderful" boy. Please call 813-935-3247 or e-mail us if you ae interested in Joe. To see more about his prison training, please go to our website, www.bayareagreyhounds.org, and click on Prison Trained Greyhounds.

Story
Lammie (racing name: Lammterra), has a sweet and friendly temperament. and loves his humans. He is an affectionate greyhound (constantly wagging his tail) who should make a wonderful companion for his people and will be a superior house pet. He is neutered and fully vaccinated. Lammie is great with other greyhounds, but is not good with cats or small dogs, He would love to have a fenced yard. Lammie had no reported injuries while racing in Ireland, and is an average size for a male greyhound at 75 lbs. His registered name is in honor of the race horse, Lammtarra, who won the Epson Derby. Lammie went to our prison training program, so he knows all of his basic commands (sit, lie down, stay, wait, come, etc.). For more information on the prison training program, please go to our website, www.bayareagreyhounds.org and check under Prison Trained Greyhounds. Story
Meet Theo He is a very loveable Rottie! The Rottie looks with a SUPER sweet personality great for any experience level. 6 yrs old~ Neutered Microchipped UTD on vaccinations On HW prevention House trained, Crate trained, Good leash manners, Knows Sit, Come, Door Manners, Kennel, Leave-it Good with most dogs , best paired with a female unless you have heavy breed experience Good with all the people he has met Good with children over 10 No small animals, or Cats No livestock Doesn't need an overly active lifestyle. He's fine to just lay and chill all day with his people 2 good walks a day and some play is all this boy needs He needs to stay on a high protein/fat diet to maintain weight Just wants someone to love and give him his best life A note from foster- He is a lovely boy and has done very well! He loves to play and hang out. At bedtime he is happy to run to his crate for his nighttime cookie! He loves to sunbathe in the yard and watch the world go by. He's good with the female dog he is paired with for play. He also loves the water hose!! He goes bananas to get wet. With a simple leave it, he will not chase the water spray. Overall he is going to make someone a wonderful dog! A little patience at first does a world of wonders for him to warm up quickly. We don't know the life he lived but we are showing him the good life is there. Intake story Transfer from a rescue so that we could help him find a forever home as we have experience with this breed. He was originally found dumped at Chamberlain High School in Tampa. If you would like to Foster, also please reach out! We supply everything!
