Story
Jelly Bean is a sweet left handed girl that loves to run and play. She loves kids and other dogs. Especially other dogs!!! We are too busy to give her the time and attention she deserves. She needs a home where she will not be alone much and has room to run and play with other dogs or with someone who has time for her. She has a nice big kennel that comes with her and that is where she likes to sleep. She is a good girl.

Story
Thor is back on the market for his forever home. Here's what his foster mom has to say-- If you are looking for the perfect housemate, Thor is your guy. He is very affectionate, loves to be near you, and will take all the attention you want to give. But he can also just chill on his own and be perfectly content. He’s a playful dude that loves to play catch and fetch with his human or will go off on his own and play be himself…chasing his ball or tossing his toys into the air. Thor is a stunning Australian Shepherd, on the smaller side at 40lbs, highly intelligent, listens well, and is fully house trained. He is not destructive and can be left in the house alone for hours. He loves car rides and playtime. Thor is very sociable and loves to have company over to his house. He greets each guest and is calm and gentle. Thor’s had a tough life before he found SAMS Rescue, and he does have some challenges that need to be considered. He has arthritis in one of his elbows that causes a limp. The limp worsens after a lot of play or exercise, but it does not appear to be overly painful. He takes a supplement and an anti-inflammatory to help manage this, so the ongoing cost for his medications would need to be considered. While his limp does not slow him down for daily activities, he is not cut out to be a running partner. Thor currently lives with another dog in his foster home, but he let us know that he would prefer to be an only dog.Thor does fine seeing other dogs on walks, etc. Thor loves all humans, including kids, but he can get a bit overwhelmed and excited by too much running and quick motions, so a home with adults/older children only would be best. Thor is adored by his foster family and all that have met him along the way. He’s a great little dude that deserves the best. After spending time in a foster home, all of his best traits and his quirks have been identified so we can honestly let you know if your home is the right fit for this beautiful boy.
