Story
This beautiful 3-legged girl is Regina (Gina or GiGi for short) and she is a shepherd mix. Her mom is a shepherd mix, and we have no details on dad. She will likely be 50-60 lbs. when fully grown. Gina just celebrated her 1st birthday in March and is still awaiting her perfect forever family.  She is the sweetest, loveable, playful girl who loves chew bones and toys. She also enjoys running and playing with the other dogs in her foster home, and cuddle with her humans. Gina does most everything the 4-legged dogs do, but she does tire out a little quicker. She would do better with a few shorter walks rather than 1 long walk. Gina is doing very well with sit, down, stay and no commands. Gina is housetrained, however, she is used to consistent potty breaks. She is also kennel trained and keeps her kennel clean. She sleeps on a dog bed in her foster parents’ bedroom, and she doesn't make a peep. Gina can be a little reserved with strangers and new things but is doing better every day with regular outings for socialization. Gina is an absolute sweetheart and loves praise, rubs, and treats. Gina’s adoption fee is $300 and helps cover her amputation, spay, vaccines, microchip registration and heartworm and flea preventatives to date. Story
Roxy is thought to be a 1 year old rottweiler/heeler mix. Her foster parents have this to say: She is good with dogs of all sizes. She is curious about cats but doesn't try to hurt them. She is very active and has a lot of energy. She loves to play with toys and spends time playing in a small kiddy pool outside. I think she will be okay around children but I suggest they be older due to Roxy's energy. I don't want little kids knocked down or scratched if jumped on. Roxy is very loving and likes to cuddle. She likes car rides, playing fetch, and she likes getting  a bath. She is doing good with potty training but does need to stick to a routine. She is very smart and catches on with training, she just needs some patience and consistency. She sleeps in her kennel all night long. She will be a good walking/running companion with a little practice. If you want an active dog for your active family, Roxy would be a great fit! Roxy's $300 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1769403##

Story
Gracie Mae is a very sweet and calm senior lady. Gracie's human mom could no longer care for her due to health concerns. She is thought to be a dachshund/sheltie mix and is a smidge overweight at 34 pounds. Gracie is 14 years young. Her hearing and sight seem fine, and she walks around just fine. She does good for bathing and brushing, enjoys going on walks, is potty trained and crate trained. Gracie Mae needs a loving retirement home to spend the rest of her days basking in the sun. Could that be you? Gracie Mae's adoption fee has kindly been covered by a donor, but we will verify that the applicant can take care of her financially. The donation includes her spay, dental, vaccines, heartworm testing and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1952077##

Story
Hendrix is definitely a giant lover of a puppy. He gives the best kisses, hugs, and cuddles of any puppy out there, I promise! He is definitely more timid than some other pups out there, but he is starting to learn that new experiences aren't bad things. Hendrix is very submissive to other dogs and would do best in a home with a more confident, older dog to help teach him how to be more confident. He loves his blankies, squeaky toys, and cuddling his favorite humans. He sleeps in a kennel nightly and does a great job keeping it clean! He will find the biggest patch of sunlight he can and stretch out for a daily power nap. He loves other dogs, kiddos, and even cats! He is13 weeks old and is expected to be 60-70 pounds once grown. Hendrix is working hard at potty training and is progressing nicely! He waits for his food politely and will even back away and wait if another pup tries to come steal a bite. He is an absolute gentleman with a very soft heart and is ready to share that love with everyone! Hendrix's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1976257##

Story
Ziggy is a super happy, bouncy puppy who is always looking for his next adventure! Everything is a toy to this sweet boy, and he will make sure he plays with everything...whether he is supposed to or not! If it squeaks, crinkles, bounces or lays still on the floor, it is fair game to become his next favorite toy! Ziggy isn't all play, however. He loves nothing more than cuddling up to his people and snoring away! He loves other dogs and especially loves when they play, too! He would love a laid back dog friend who can tolerate his sometimes mischievous ways. He has met three cats in his foster home and he was very curious about them. Once they set a boundary with him, he respected it. He has done very well keeping his kennel clean. He even will put himself down for an afternoon nap in there! He is working very hard at potty training and is doing well! He hasn't gotten it totally down, but it is only a matter of time. He absolutely loves the kids in his foster home! He is learning not to jump up on them, but hasn't mastered it yet and may knock down some very young kiddos. He is 13 weeks old and will likely be 60-70 pounds when fully grown. Ziggy is all puppy all the time, but really eager to learn about everything this big world has to offer! Ziggy's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1976258##
