Story
Tilly is mesmerizing with her icy blue eyes. This beautiful girl is just 15 months old. She is very smart. She would be great learning one of the many dog sports. She consistantly "checks in" with her foster mom to see if anything is expected of her.  Tilly would thrive with an adopter who is "hands on". She is 1/3 border collie, but also has small amounts of siberian husky/saint bernard/boxer/labrador retriever per her DNA results. A quiet home without small children would be ideal for her. Tilly is dog selective and it is unknown how she is with cats. She is crate and potty trained. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is only $300.00. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1880121##

Story
Lucky is a beautiful 5 month old Beagle/Husky mix. She is the sweetest puppy! She is very gentle and loves attention. She also enjoys watching TV with you! She is well trained and knows sit, down, heel, come and kennel. She will put herself in her kennel when told. She listens better than a child! She currently weighs 30lbs and is expected to be 50-60lbs fully grown. She is making good progress with potty training. She does well with other dogs (she's a follower), cats (ignores them), and children. She will do best with children who are old enough to understand that she prefers space when eating. She has a history of gaurding her food bowl. She has worked with a professional and has shown huge improvement in this area. Lucky is a Gem of a pup! Super sweet, loving, and trained! Any family would be lucky to call Lucky theirs! Lucky is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is just $300.00. Story
Meet PD, a 10 year old Chihuahua. He is a spicy little character with a big personality! He's got a strong will and a lot of love to give, on his own terms, of course. It may take him a little while to like you after he meets you as he is very particular about his humans. This little guy is fully potty trained! He has never had a single accident in his foster home. His favorite things are his people, his furry foster brother, belly scratches, being the boss of his household, and his twice a day treats (the only way he takes his medication). PD has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and a heart murmur, requiring daily medication. Also has kidney concerns which are maintained on a prescription kidney-support diet. He would also benefit from losing some weight (he's quite chunky) with light exercise. It will be beneficial for his overall health. PD does not like dogs bigger than he is. He also does not like when his foster brother is getting attention and he isn't, or when someone gets to close while he is on your lap (he can be a bit possessive with his people). This special guy needs a calm and loving home that does not have a lot of new people coming around. He can be very spicy towards new people as he is very protective of his family. His furever family must also be willing to continue caring for his medical needs. He's been the bestest boy in his foster home. PD's $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration. Story
My name is Oakley! I am a very big strong boy who loves the attention of anyone who will give it to me, I especially enjoy belly rubs. I LOVE bath time and water, too!  I am good with most dogs but can be sellective, I haven't been around cats. I am overweight at 102 pounds and need someone who will limit my food and treats so I can become the best version of myself. The veterinarian says I should lose 15 pounds. I enjoy short walks and I walk beautifully with a Gentle Leader. I am potty trained and crate trained. I am 2 1/2 years old. My Dad is an AKC registered German Shepherd, Mom is a beautiful smaller black lab mix.  Oakley's $300 adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test, flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, deworming medication, and microchip registration.
