Story
UP FOR ADOPTION IN NEW ENGLAND AND THE MIDWEST - BUDDY Say “Hello” to your next buddy! This one year old male Chocolate Lab mix, Buddy, has made a successful transition from a muddy outdoor kennel in Mississippi to comfy indoor dog life in Ohio. He’s ready for his forever home where he can snuggle up on the couch with his new family. His house manners are great, he responds promptly when his name is called, and enjoys being close to his people. Buddy is a perfect size family dog. He’s on the smaller size and is only about 45 pounds. Buddy enjoys taking a few laps zooming around the yard before stopping to soak up some sunshine & enjoy a few long sniffs. He’ll then be happy to plop down on the couch for a snooze. He’s been quick to learn basic commands, and is house & crate trained. True to the young Lab personality he is ready to play, eager to please, and needs plenty of durable toys to chew on. We recommend crating Buddy while unsupervised in his new environment. He’s had a few anxious moments where he shredded blankets or crate mats, so hold off on those creature comforts until he’s settled in. While Buddy’s socialization was limited during foster care due to his heartworm treatment, he has done well with new places, strangers & kids. Busy or noisy environments will require some positive reinforcement, but he will gain confidence with time. He has gotten along well with multiple male and female foster sibling dogs ranging in age from 1 to 17 years old. He may like being the center of attention in a single dog home, but also enjoys the company of other dogs. If you’d like to make this sweet smaller sized boy part of your family, please apply for Buddy at www.luckylabrescue.com

Hank the Tank is a big napper. He likes to cuddle and has been around kids of all ages. He has also been around other dogs and chickens. He is not good with chickens because of his breed but he is near their coop. He prefers to be indoors but is tolerant of a couple hours outside. He is crate trained. He is generally pretty chill unless he is excited about seeing someone.

Story
Arlo is truly a life long friend, he is a sweetheart, loves to play with other dogs, enjoys to run outside and go on hikes. Arlo would make a great family dog because he gets along with everyone!!!! He’s very energetic & intelligent so he will need to go to home that has a tall fenced yard so he can run around and play. Arlo recently completed training through petco because he tends to give minor resistance but overall he has improved. He’s just a very curious soul. He just needs a family who will give him the attention he deserves because currently our family has encountered a medical issue that is making it difficult to support Arlo’s needs. He’s truly great, not an inch aggressiveness in his body. Still needs help with walking because he tends to resist at times but with consistency he’ll get it!!! He’s definitely one of a kind!!

Story
Arlo is a beagle mix breed and he’s 4 years old. I adopted Arlo from Hope Haven Canine Rescue. Arlo is one of the greatest loyal dogs you’ll ever have. He’s extremely playful and loves to socialize with other dogs. He recently completed his basic training through petco. He is sweet, loving, and very active. He enjoys morning, afternoon walks and hiking! Arlo truly meets the criteria of a life long friend. Arlo is crate trained and potty trained. The best family Arlo would fit in is with an active family. He will be great in a home that has a fenced yard, and is able to roam around. A family who will give him the attention and love that he deserves! Arlo loves dog park’s!!!

Story
This dog came from the woods of Alabama, moved up to Tennessee with me, and is now living in Indiana, Unfortunately do to moving once again I can no longer keep and take care of him to give him the life he deserves. He is a sweet and loving boy who loves naps and walks like nobodies business. He listens pretty well and is house trained. A storied dog with a z of white fur right behind his head, he will make anyone a treasured pal.
