Story
Azriel is still waiting… and we can’t believe it. 💙At 6 years old and 65 pounds, he’s past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of spark. He’s the kind of dog who will happily go on a long walk, then come home and toss his toys around like it’s his full-time job. The zoomies? Elite level.Azriel does best with dogs his size or bigger and needs a home without small dogs or cats. He thrives with structure, consistency, and someone who understands that a confident, active dog needs both mental and physical outlets. He’s not just looking for a place to stay — he’s looking for his person. The one who sees his big personality and even bigger heart. Story
Introducing Lucas!Lucas is a 1 year old mixed breed pup that recently traveled up from Mississippi - I thought he would struggle with this cold weather, but he loves the snow! His paperwork simply lists “mixed” as his breed, but my best guess is a Black Mouth Cur - his appearance and behaviors fit the breed perfectly! He’s mouthy, non-stop active, loyal, and playful. About Lucas:🌟 Breed: Mixed 🌟 Age: 15 months old🌟 Weight: 54 lbs🌟 HW- , neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped 🌟 Kennel and leash trained & housebroken🌟 No cats and not kid tested 🌟 Playful with other dogs Lucas is high energy and would do best in an active home with a fenced yard. He would also love another dog to play with - he wants to play constantly and listens to dog cues well. He is hesitant around men at first, but warms up within a few days of treats and walks. He’s still learning manners, but with an active home, dog siblings, direction, and lots of affection, he will make the perfect lifetime companion! Story
Odin needs a home that is patient and willing to put the time in. He is looking for a home where he can be an only pet, and that there is no small kiddos. He loves to go for walks, but his favorite thing to do is to bask out in the sunshine watching the yard for squirrels. Oden is a big love bug once he knows you, but he does take some time to warm up. A quiet home with little traffic would be great for this boy. Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1.
