Story
Finnley is an AKC Registered fawn/rust Doberman. Rehoming as I run 4 restaurants and am at the stores for 12+ hours a day. I just moved into an apartment with him and got an anti-barking collar however it isn’t working the best I had hoped as I received a noise complaint about him. Finn has had foreign body surgery in the past for an obstruction, he is also a counter surfer so if left alone, food and any kitchen trash cans will have to be locked and stored away and him closely monitored when not secured in a cage/room. He is 50/50 with other dogs, he is a rough player and loves to zoom, his energy will be a bit too much for other pups most of the time. Cats he is good with, he does like to sniff them but has grown up with them 24/7 since he was brought in as a puppy. He has a sensitivity to chicken and will get gassy and have loose stool when fed any chicken based food. All of his blankets, items, food, and toys would come with him and I am open to bringing him to you as well.

Story
Meet Baron, a remarkable young pup at only 1 year old who is eager to find his forever family! Baron is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Baron tested positive for a tick disease but has since been treated. Our boy has a heart as big as the ocean. Baron is a true water dog who loves laying in the doggy pool in a hot weather day. He is well-mannered and gets along splendidly with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a family with an existing furry friend which is actually preferred. Baron will open up quicker to his new family if there are other dogs in the household whom he can bond with. Baron is also house-trained and kennel-trained, making him a dream come true for any family looking for a loyal and loving companion. It will take Baron a few days to open up to his new family especially the man of the house. He needs a patient family that understands this. Baron is not overly active. He actually prefers to lay around the house and then go outside and do a little exploring. However he does enjoy going on regular walks and does great on the leash. Baron is full of potential and ready to learn and grow with you by his side. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? Take the first step towards a lifetime of love and adventures together! Baron is being fostered in LA FERIA, TX but can be transported just about anywhere in the country. Transportation cost is included in adoption fee. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application via our website, anassafehavenrescue.org. Can't wait to hear from you!!!!

Story
Avy is a sweet loving girl who just needs the right guidance to really flourish. She loves car rides and walks but does need some more training on commands. She is very eager to learn new things and very food motivated. She is 6 years old and full of typical husky energy. She would be best as a only pet due to some dominance issues around food and other dogs. She loves other dogs its just when it comes to food she has issues with other dogs with. She is okay with cats but is more of nuisance of wanting to play with them, she's never been around a kitten so unsure of how she would react. She loves to snuggle and get belly rubs and she really is a sweet dog who loves everyone she just needs someone to match her energy :)

Story
Hawk & Lynx are a bonded pair, brother and sister. They were found roaming the streets of Saginaw, MI. They then were taken to the local shelter before going into a program through the Michigan Department of Corrections. There, they had daily training to become service dogs. Lucky for us, Hawk and Lynx did not pass their final test. Lynx likes to lick and Hawk can be a bit stubborn. They were then adoptable and came to be part of our family for the last 5 years. They are the best dogs. They are the best of friends and must stay together. They're amazing with children, and will alert you to a babies cry or need. They're gentle, sweet, and so loving. They love to play and run with each other. They haven't had much experience with a leash but they are quick learners.
