Story
Loki is a good dog. He is just to high energy for our family. We got him as a companion for our two year old child but he is bigger than expected and frequently knocks her over. Loki needs a home where he gets the attention he needs and has some room to run. I will relinquish Loki with his crate, bed and toys as well as the remainder of his food.

Story
Loki is a 7 month old mixed breed dog. He needs a home with a yard or someone who has the time and ability to exert his energy. We lack the resources and time to train him properly which is leading to bad behaviors. Loki has the potential to be a wonderful dog for someone who has the time and resources to invest in his future. Loki is neutered and up to date on all vet care. Will allow new owner to take his crate, remaining dog food, toys, and treats for no charge.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please understand that we get many applications for our available dogs. We review each application and do our absolute best in choosing a home that best suits each dog and his/her needs and personality. Hi!  I’m Rose but my foster Mom also calls me Rosie, Rosie Posie, Rosemarie and other silly things. My favorite things are soft beds, yummy food, treats and other dogs.  I like being out in the yard in the sun sniffing things and exploring. I’m usually very quiet but if my siblings start barking I will follow along. I don’t like storms and really loud noises…..it makes me nervous. I didn’t have a very good start in life and remembering it makes me sad so Foster Mom will explain.   Rose was a puppy mill Mom who was being disposed of because she was not “useful”anymore. Most likely because she developed a mammary tumor. Our vet removed it with great margins and she remains cancer free. She was terrified of people (who can blame her) and she did not understand stairs or outside or grass. Her comfort was found in dogs and that is still her comfort space. Rose has made great progress while in foster care but she still has fears of people. She will willingly take a treat from my hand and sleeps in bed with me but prefers to be as far away as possible.  She has learned to go upstairs but still will not go down. Part of the hesitation could be because her front legs are slightly shorter than her back legs and I believe she is afraid she will fall forward but she does need more training steps and leash work.  The ideal home for Rose is someone who understands and is patient with her fears and has the time and patience to continue to work with her.  Another dog in the household would be great but not a must. While a fence would be great it’s not a must as long as the forever home understands that she must be kept in a secure harness and collar on leash while outside. And of course prior experience with puppy mill dogs is a plus.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 29, 2025, 4:52 pm

Story
Meet Josie! Josie is a 1.5-year-old, 35lb Pittie mix with a bright, happy personality. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic obedience. Josie is an outgoing girl, but not overwhelming, and she has an impressive vertical jump (which is why she requires a privacy fence) and she’s currently working on greeting people with a polite sit. Josie lives with many other dogs in her foster home, but she has shown us there are some things she does not like to share .. such as her humans’ affection. Which is why she is labelled as needing to be an only pet in the home. She also has some prey drive toward cats and squirrels and is still learning better leash manners. Josie came to us from a small rural shelter in South Carolina. She has been thriving in her foster home and is a fun mix of adventure and snuggle partner. Black Dog Syndrome is very real, add to that she is also a pittie mix and needing to be an only dog and we know we are looking for a one in a million adopter. We know there is the perfect family or person out there who will appreciate her lust for life and sweet, loving, and loyal nature. Josie is looking for: • A home where she is the only pet • Someone who enjoys an active dog with a zest for life, but also a good cuddle Adoption Info: We adopt and transport throughout much of the United States. We review each application and do our absolute best in choosing a home that best suits each dog and his/her needs and personality. Separation Anxiety; Fear Biter; MedsHi World! I’m looking for a new home, my first mom passed and I am looking for my new place in life. I have some separation anxiety, my foster mom and dad have worked with me and I’m getting better, but I still need a little medication daily to help. I’m housebroken, quiet most of the time – but boy do I like to sit on dad’s lap and tell him how hard mom and I worked all day! I’m up to date on vaccines and neutered. If you think you might have the right home for me, please talk to my foster mom!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2025, 4:26 pm
