Story
This is my boy blue. He originally was rescued by me a little over 5 years ago when his previous owner lost her home to unfortunate circumstances. Blue came from a household full of kids and other animals. I learned alot while fostering him, and while he may be okay with other dogs/cats, he has a very playful side to him that some animals might not like so much (including cats), so preferably he is probably best to be placed in a home where he is the center of all the attention. He is a very thick dog, very powerful, but will also give you all the lovings and attention you could ever ask for. He is fixed, and roughly around 7 years old. He loves a good snowball fight, or even a summer time swim or playing in the sprinkler. ( honestly so cute). He has always been a good boy and he is very protective of his family, but likes to show you how big of a bark he has when other animals or people pass by. Blue has been looking for a forever home and were hoping to find the perfect fit!

Story
Where did you acquire your pet? I adopted Bronco from a local family in Michigan in September 2023. How old is your pet? Bronco is 2 years old. What are you looking for in a new home? A calm, stable home with someone who is home most of the day. Bronco struggles with being alone and needs routine, patience, and gentle handling. A quiet household without frequent visitors or small children would be best. A secure yard is a bonus. What adjectives would you use to describe your pet? Loving, loyal, playful, protective, sensitive, intelligent. Behavior note Bronco is protective and nervous around strangers. He may try to nip if approached suddenly. A muzzle during introductions helps, and he’s improving with consistency and positive reinforcement. He needs a patient, experienced adopter.

Story
Hi! I’m a 2.5 year-old Australian Cattle Dog looking for a home with a loving and active family. I need lots of space to run and play and act on my herding instincts. I also need a job to engage my intelligent mind. I love to play tug, fetch, and anything that involves squeaky toys. I’m a Velcro dog and will go everywhere with you, I love car rides! I would do best with an experienced owner. I know several commands (sit, down, stay, come, heel, spin right and left, off, leave-it, and wait), but I’m still working on drop. I hear I’m highly trainable due to my love for food (especially cheese). I do require slow introductions to strangers due to my guarding instincts as well as other dogs. I would do best with a bigger or older dog, and older children due to my energy but ive done well (when supervised) with a 2 year-old. Koda is updated on all shots/screenings, neutered, and has DNA tests. Willing to donate supplies.

Story
Maggie was discarded in Kalamazoo area in March 2024 at a colleagues house who had other dogs. I decided to take her in as a companion for my elderly mother. She is a sweet human dog, but a bossy dog-dog- absolutely a Corgi. She can have occasional accidents in the house if you don't verify her outside activity. She is crate trained, but she wants to be with you all the time. She was a great friend to my mother. She loves people, tolerates and likes kids but she doesn't like to be handled, just petted on the head. She likes to play and zoomies in the fenced yard. She terrorizes the cat- definitely would say no cats in her home. She was bossy with my dog until he passed, at day-care she really doesn't want to be with the other dogs- too bossy they say. She was somebody's good dog until some reason caused her to be abandoned. She deserves a good, loving home where she can be a constant companion. She has had extensive dental work. Still has enough teeth to eat her kibble.

Story
Meet Kirby! Kirby is a 1-year-old, 16-pound rat terrier bursting with energy and personality. This playful pup is looking for a forever home that loves fun as much as he does! Kirby enjoys chasing toys, romping with other dogs, and engaging in lively, puppy-style play. He's still learning his manners and can get a bit mouthy when excited, but it's all in good fun.  He is mostly house-trained and has never marked indoors—a great start for his future family! He settles down nicely in his crate at night and is a quiet, calm traveler when crated in the car. He thrives around other dogs and would do best in a home with canine companions. However, on-leash encounters with unfamiliar dogs trigger barking and lunging, so he'll need training to improve his leash manners. An obedience class would also help with his typical adolescent boundary-pushing. While Kirby hasn't been tested with cats or children, his high energy might be a bit much for small kids. He also tends to bark at and want to chase cats, so a feline-free home would be best for him. Kirby is dreaming of an active home where he can run, explore, and build a strong bond with his people. A securely fenced yard is a must—he'll need space to stretch those long legs and burn off his youthful energy! . If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion, Kirby is ready to join your family!    For more photos/videos of handsome Kirby, take a look at his album at  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/kirby If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www.
