She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and kennel trained—ready to settle right into her forever home. Mocha is a beautiful soul with a heart as warm as her name suggests. Her expressive eyes and gentle spirit capture everyone she meets. Loving and affectionate, she’s always happy to offer a comforting nudge or curl up for some quality snuggle time. This girl also has a playful side! Mocha loves to run, play chase, and romp around with her toys and other dogs. She does great with canine companions and would thrive in an active home—especially one with dogs around her age who can keep up with her energy and enthusiasm. Mocha is being fostered in San Antonio, TX but can be transported to any midwestern or northeastern state. Transportation cost is included in her adoption fee of $450. Story
Meet Baron! 🐾 Baron is a remarkable young pup, just 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs, who’s ready to find his forever family. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Baron previously tested positive for a tick-borne disease but has since been fully treated. With a heart as big as the ocean, Baron is a true water dog—he loves cooling off by lounging in a doggy pool on warm days. He’s well-mannered, house-trained, and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to the right home. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and having a canine companion in the household is actually preferred, as he opens up more quickly when he has another dog to bond with. Baron can be a bit shy at first, especially around men, and may take a few days to feel comfortable. A patient, understanding family will help him blossom into the loving companion he’s meant to be. Because of his gentle and reserved nature, we recommend a home with a fenced-in yard and older children who understand boundaries. While Baron isn’t overly active, he enjoys relaxing around the house, exploring the yard, and going on regular walks—he walks beautifully on a leash. Sweet, loyal, and full of potential, Baron is ready to grow and thrive with a family who will give him the time and love he deserves. Could you be the one Baron has been waiting for? Take the first step toward a lifetime of love and companionship by giving Baron the forever home he deserves. 💙 I'm being fostered in La Feria, TX but can be transported to any midwestern or northeastern state. Adoption fee is $500. Please apply to adopt here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ASHT/Dog

Story
Gunner is a male black and tan hound mix, around 3 years old, and weighs around 50 pounds. Gunner was rescued from a rural small-town dog pound. Gunner is a good boy. He is crate-trained and goes into his crate when told. He obeys and comes when called. He rides well in a vehicle, sits for treats, and walks on a leash. He is good about baths. He is affectionate and loves human attention and petting. He loves toys, treats, and playing with other dogs. It is very hot here in Texas, and Gunner prefers to be inside and snoozing on the couch in the air conditioning. During the heat of the day, he will go out to potty and run, and wrestle with his friends for a short time, but then he is ready to come back inside to cool off. Being a hound, Gunner exhibits some typical hound behaviors. He goes ballistic over squirrels in the trees. He barks at people walking down the street and at other dogs and cats he sees in the neighborhood. He will counter-surf with his partners in crime. And if I forget to secure the cabinet with the baby lock, he and the other dogs will open it and raid the garbage. Gunner is a typical goofy and happy hound. Gunner is neutered, tattooed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. He has been treated for heartworms. He is now heartworm-negative and receives monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gunner is available for adoption to approved applicants. He is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. His adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Kalamazoo, Jackson, or Ann Arbor, MI. Story
Charlie is a girl who is 4 years old. Unfortunately we are choosing to rehome her because she needs a home where she can have a lot of attention and time being spent with her and we can not give her that anymore due to us welcoming a second baby into our home. She is a great dog and would do great with any family!
