Story
**Available in Foster**Hi! My name is Merida and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 2yrs old and I've been at the shelter since 11/19/25.I am a very sweet lady who loves meeting new people. I am a very smart girl who is learning some of the basic commands and I'm potty trained! I enjoy getting out on walks (and walk amazing on leash) or playing with squeaky toys! I am a total sweetheart who also loves some cuddles here and there! My ideal home would be very loving and patient while I adjust to new environments. I made my way to the shelter as a stray so staff are unsure how I would do with other animals or kids. I have made a few dog friends here and have been doing great! A note from her amazing foster: "She is the sweetest, most gentle couch potato who enjoys lying under heated blankets with her favorite people for hours on end. Speaking of favorite people, she is naturally drawn more to men than women I've noticed but has LOVED everyone she meets and will greet them with a gentle tail wag and kiss. She has a boisterous and rowdy, yet respectful play style with other dogs and never takes it too far and always shows the other dog respect when they've had enough. Merida walks perfectly on leash without pulling and when passing other barking dogs, doesn't give them the time of day. She sleeps peacefully in her crate at night (and even puts herself to bed when she's tired) and doesn't cry for long when crated during the day. All in all, she's perfect and will make the best family dog for her lucky adopters."If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.MERIDA'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Merida and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! Story
Hi! My name is Nascar and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 1 year old and I've been at the shelter since September 14.I'm a happy, energetic, bouncy lil buddy that loves to make new friends! I love to ZOOM (hence my name) and sniff around the yards, play with bones and toys, and hang with my favorite people! My ideal home would be very active and committed to getting my energy out! I'm a very smart boy and already know some basic commands, but I still need some help with my manners (I just get so excited I need to JUMP about it!) so I'll need someone who will continue with basic training. I previously lived with a cat, I loved to chase her! It didn't seem aggressive, just playful, but the cat was not a fan of that. It is unknown how I would do living with children or other dogs.If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Hi! My name is Trevor and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 3yr old and I've been at the shelter since 11/14/25.I'm a sweet and silly boy that can be cautious of new people, especially men. Once I'm comfortable with you I'm the sweetest bestest boy! I love to play with toys and explore new spaces and get snuggles from my favorite humans. My ideal home would be very loving and patient while I adjust to new environments and experiences. I have a history of being abused so I'm looking for a kind and dedicated family to help teach me that not all people are so scary. Currently, I would do best as an only animal in the home. Staff thinks I would also do ok with some kids, particularly older ones that understand boundaries! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt!
