Hi! My name is Prince Elroy and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am about a year old and I've been at the shelter since August fifth.I found my way to the shelter from an unfortunate situation. Staff was under the impression that I was found as a stray, but later discovered my 'finders' were my previous pet-parents. In my previous home, I lived with a cat, a bird, and kids. Staff believes I would succeed in a home with other animals and children older than 12. I have a high amount of anxiety here at the shelter. This may transfer into separation anxiety once I am in a home. Please be aware of this before moving forward with adoption, as general anxiety as well as separation anxiety does require knowledgeable behavior modifications. I could also benefit from learning some general manners so I can be the best gentleman. Despite my background, I am an incredibly sweet, playful, and bouncy boy. I need someone to take a chance on me. Provide me with consistency, boundaries, and affection, and I will be the best pup for you. My ideal home would be very knowledgeable of how anxiety presents itself in dogs. I will need structure and a quiet home. If you have children that are experienced with dogs and are older than 12, that would be best. I also wouldn't mind living with kitties, but may need some time to get used to living with another pup in a home. I am 3 years old and I've been at the shelter since 7/3/26.I made my way to the shelter from City of Duluth Animal Shelter as a stray. I had a rough start to life, I was very underweight and I currently have some skin issues. I also have a case of happy tail, I just wag that thing too darn hard! Despite this I am the absolute sweetest girl in the world! My ideal home would be patient and understanding while I get acclimated to my new space. I still need to put on some more weight and will likely need help going forward with my skin issues.
