Story
Hi! My name is Bianca and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 5yrs old and I've been at the shelter since 6/5.I am a very sweet chunky lil lady who loves meeting new people! I am a fetch machine and will go go go until I cannot take it anymore! Staff says I enjoy he simple things in life. Walks.. yes, toys... yes, treats....of course! My ideal home would be very loving and a bit active/dedicated to helping me shed some of my extra weight so I can be my healthiest self! I also enjoy lots of cuddles and love from my humans, so get ready! I made my way to the shelter as a stray so staff are unsure how I would do with dogs, cats, but I've done really well with older kids!If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve so long as the interested party is a good fit for the animals needs. BIANCA'S ADOPTION FEE: $325 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Bianca and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! **Hospice Adoption**Hi! My name is Winnie and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 14yrs old and I've been at the shelter since 6/7.I am a very sweet lady who loves meeting new people. I am an older gal who is having some hearing and vison issues but trust me that doesn't slow me down much. I enjoy gentle strolls to get all the smells in and a comfy spot near my people to snuggle up!My ideal home would be loving, patient and ready to give me the best rest of my life in their home! In my previous home I have done well with meeting kids and other dogs (respectful and not too energetic) but not sure on cats. I would do best in a quiet home with few stairs since I am having some mobility issues as well. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Our adoption process is first come first serve so long as the interested party is a good fit for the animals needs. WINNIE'S ADOPTION FEE: $200 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Winnie and future pets at our shelter. Story
Hi! My name is Tucker, previously known as Supernova, and I am a very playful, curious, and HIGHLY energetic dog. I am 1 year old and I'm looking for a home to help me grow into the best dog I can be!Fun fact about me, I was actually born at Animal Allies! Feel free to look at my baby pictures, they're pretty cute! I was my momma's only pup, so I got extra love from her and everybody else at AAHS. Unfortunately I received minimal socialization in the early stages of life, so I'm looking for a family that is really dedicated and excited about taking me to my free follow up training at RR Professional Training. I will need a lot of structure and positive reinforcement as I settle into a new routine. In my previous home they mentioned some separation anxiety so having an owner that a is familiar with that and dedicated to helping me overcome that would be the best fit for me! In my previous home I also did well with an e-collar so with an experienced owner that knows how to use them I could fall back into that training well!In my previous home I did well with another dog and a cat! A dog friend that matches my play style and demeanor would be best. A house with no kiddos would be best as one of my previous homes had quite a few and it wasn't the best fit for me.Since I have been under socialized, it does take me a little bit to warm up to new people, but once I do, I love all the attention! I love playing with toys, especially fetch! I also LOVE to be outside and go on walks. I even like to carry a toy in my mouth when I trot around the trails at AAHS with our staff. They have also noticed that I'm a pretty smart boy. I know some basic commands such as sit, down, and place! I would love to learn more too, I'm eager to pleas and VERY treat motivated, so if you want to work with me and become a dynamic duo I would be so down!If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road. Otherwise, you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards their adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt until they are ready to go! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.TUCKER'S ADOPTION FEE: $275 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Tucker and future pets at our shelter. Story
Hi! My name is Big-Rig and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 8 years old and I've been at the shelter since 5/20.I am a big, strong, sweet fella who loves to play fetch and settle down with a squeaky toy. I'm a big fan of going on walks and do nicely on a leash, but if I get a whiff of something interesting I may pull you to check it out. My previous home said I'm pretty well trained! I definitely know my basic commands and am eager to please and VERY treat motivated!Staff are unsure how I would do living with another dog. I have done well with other dogs that are neutral/calm. Excitable dogs will probably not be best for me. Since I'm such a strong guy, staff would prefer someone with experience handling a big hunk such as myself. My previous home said I do well with cats as long as they don't invade my space too much. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt!
