Story
Hi! My name is Steve Harrington and I'm an 8 month old pup looking for a loving home to call my own. While I'm sweet, curious, and full of potential, it's clear I haven't had much structure or guidance early on in life. New things like doorways and leashes still make me quite nervous. Because of this, I'll need patient, understanding adopters who are willing to give me time to learn, build confidence, and discover what it truly means to feel safe and loved. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road. Otherwise, you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards their adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt until they are ready to go! Our adoption team is available via phone Tuesday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:30am-4:00pm. Our adoption process is first come first serve.STEVE HARRINGTON'S ADOPTION FEE: $375 plus tax. This fee is used for the extensive costs associated with vetting and otherwise caring for Steve Harrington and future pets at our shelter. Every adopter from Animal Allies receives a pet that has been spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Our pets also receive dental work or other treatments when necessary. In addition, Animal Allies provides free lifetime post-adoption counseling to help with any behavioral issues or concerns you may have for your new pet! I am 3 years old and I've been at the shelter since 3/4/26.I'm a sweet and energetic gal that loves to soak up all the attention and belly rubs! I have a great smile that I love to show off and already know "sit", "shake", and "down".My ideal home would be full of love and patience while I settle in to a new home. Story
Hi! My name is Cosmo and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 12yrs and I've been at the shelter since 1/10.I'm a very laid back lad who loves to go for walks and hikes and I LOVE car rides! I'll happily be your copilot on all your adventures. I love exploring, but I can also be a couch potato if need be! I love any and all treats and I am a plush toy fanatic! However, I will rip them shreds in moments so I'll need lots of them. I also will never pass up the opportunity to wear a nice sweater, if it's below 70 degrees I'm a Certified Chilly Boy and will insist on wearing my favorite sweaters and shirts! My ideal home would be very loving and patient while I adjust to new environments. In my previous home I did very well living with a few cats. I have done well with other dogs out and about. I have never lived with kids but my previous home says I do very good around them!Being an older gentleman, I'm not in the best of health and would love to spend my golden years in a comfy home of my own! I am such a lovebug and so ready to steal your heart! If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt! Story
Hi! My name is Nascar and I'm looking for a loving home to call my own! I am 1 year old and I've been at the shelter since September 14.I'm a happy, energetic, bouncy lil buddy that loves to make new friends! I love to ZOOM (hence my name) and sniff around the yards, play with bones and toys, and hang with my favorite people! My ideal home would be very active and committed to getting my energy out! I'm a very smart boy and already know some basic commands, but I still need some help with my manners (I just get so excited I need to JUMP about it!) so I'll need someone who will continue with my training. I previously lived with a cat, and I loved to chase her! I just wanted to play, but the cat was not a fan. The staff doesn't know how I would do living with children or other dogs.If you are interested in adopting me, please visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or you can call the Adoption Team at 218-722-5341 as early as 10:30 AM and place a nonrefundable $25 hold towards my adoption fee to put you first in-line to adopt!
