Story
Hi everybody, I’m going to tell you a little about myself. I am little! 45# short and stout. I’m still young – zoomies!!! I love to get my zoomies on. My foster mom has a fenced in yard and sometimes I get really crazy running from one side to another and turn circles and being all crazy. I do have alot of energy and really enjoy when we go on walks so I can sniff everything. Still learning proper walking techniques and we have been practicing different commands, I think mom is making them training sessions instead of walks. I am also a couch potato, I will curl up next to you or go lay in the recliner, sometimes I sit up and watch TV especially if you have an animal show on. I enjoy chewing on things, bully sticks, bones, things that taste yummy. I am also into recycling ……. Boxes! I will help you shred them! I have a really good time tearing them into pieces then its easier for you to put them in the recycle bin! I am kennel trained and will stay in there while you are gone. Give me a kong and I will enjoy that. I am not to be trusted to roam the house while you are at work, I find things to get into. For a short time I am ok. When its time for bed don’t think you will be sleeping alone, I will be right there next to you to keep you warm. I will even let you cover me up. So now get that application in so that I can cuddle up with you and we can have a great time together for the next 10 years or so. .Adoption fee $295 plus tax____Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter. Please call aheadIt’s a new year and I am still waiting to find my furever home. I have been in rescue since November living in a foster home. I have some fursiblings and am learning how to play nicely. I still think I can be rough, no small dogs for me, and no other small animals. I have alot of energy and I might knock over little kids, but if you spend time training me I might not be so crazy around them! I really enjoy spending time with my foster mom, cuddling, watching tv (I love watching other dogs on TV!), chewing on toys, playing fetch, running in the yard. We have a doggy door and I really enjoy running in and out whenever I want to. I am doing pretty well on my training, I know how to sit and wait for my food to be put down, I know off and sit. I am not learning how to sleep on the floor at night, its so much warmer and comfortable to curl up in bed next to my foster mom. She tries every night to get me to sleep on the floor. Oh I almost forgot – I love to shred things!! Boxes are alot of fun! I sure hope to find myself my own family real soon. Story
Desoto9 year old Pomeranian mixDeSoto!A 9 year old Pomeranian who isn’t slowing down quite yet! The floof running across the yard always has some kind of exploring or sniffing to do. He plays with toys. Sometimes. Very familiar with the word TREAT and listens well when the door is opened and he’s asked to “stay” (no darting outside).DeSoto is currently in foster care with other dogs and also cats. He could live with other pets, but he would love to be your one and only! He prefers all the attention and does get a little jealous. 🙂DeSoto is house trained, good appetite, good cuddler, good on a leash and calm in the car. He will be your shadow. He barks at dogs he sees on TV. He also barks a bit right when you leave, so probably not apartment appropriate. Please fill out an application on our website if you are interested in adopting DeSoto!
