Story
Here’s Rosie! She is dog friendly, smart, attentive and super sweet. She was surrendered to us in June then gave us all a big surprise when she had 7 puppies just a few days later. She had a litter of 7 pups 10 weeks ago. She is still thin and her coat is getting fuller and shinier. The throes of motherhood, giving birth and nursing takes its toll!Rosie is in foster care. Here is a little bit about her.She is sweet, smart, loves balls and chew toys, likes adults and children, likes other dogs, is patient and housebroken. She is active. She would love a gentle, active family, someone who would love throwing balls as much as she loves catching them. She will “wait” at the door and not charge out of it until you give her permission, likes to cuddle, loves treats, sits, shakes (her left paw, only, thank you!) is curious, very alert, barks very little once she knows her territory and just wants to be loved! She is available through the Watonwan County Humane Society, 507-942-7387.She is microchipped, up-to-date on immunizations. $295.00 adoption fee for Rosie.Just look at those eyes, one blue and one brown.____Please Note: We ask that an application be filled out before coming to the shelter. If pre approved, a meeting with the animal will be set up.
