Story
Mercury's love for people is as boundless as the universe, and with a slow and patient introduction, he transforms into a true lovebug. His expressive eyes and wagging tail tell the story of a pup eager to connect and create a bond that lasts a lifetime. Once he knows you're a friend, he'll be your most devoted companion, offering endless cuddles and tail-wagging joy. However, Mercury's celestial charm is unique, and he requires a home where he can shine as the solo star. He has shown aggression towards other animals, so a pet-free environment is essential for his happiness and well-being. Mercury thrives when he can be the center of attention, basking in the love and companionship of his human family. Mercury's ideal home is one filled with understanding and a commitment to his need for exclusive affection. A secure and calm environment will allow him to blossom into the affectionate and loyal companion he longs to be. Whether it's a quiet evening on the couch or an outdoor adventure, Mercury is ready to share his love with a family who appreciates the unique brilliance of his personality. If you are interested in Mercury, please fill out an application at www.tahoewarf.org and call Sam at 775-338-6631.May 18, 2024, 3:51 pm

Story
Hi there, my name is Sophie. I am ALL Griff, loving, silly, devoted, 2 speeds: hang out, and sporting field girl. I am part of my Dad's Griff family, and I have been Mom to many well adjusted pups. But now I am being retired, and my Dad wants me to go to a home where I will be spoiled and part of the family and household, for my retirement years. I am great with humans of all sizes -- and other dogs (used to living with them). Still have run in me -- and could use some training in recall as I get pretty 'focused' on following my nose when I am out in the field. I haven't been hunted lately, because my Dad doesn't hunt as much as he used to. Anyway, please call on me or come meet me. I live in Idaho near Twin Falls -- and am seeking a home within close reasonable driving distance so I can be near to Dad. OR close to Reno/Tahoe/Carson City (the gal who is helping my Dad find me a home). She is doing the initial screening, and is asking for a phone call interview, application, home visit, and adoption fee that will go to Dad and rescue. Thank you for your interest. Call my foster Mom, Robyn: 775-240-5142 or email robyn.orloff@icloud.com.May 18, 2024, 3:51 pm
