Story
Scooby Doo is an incredibly unique doberman/malinois mix (per DNA test)! Scooby is the GOOFIEST dog in the world. He has basic obedience training, is crate trained, housebroken and gets along with other large dogs. Scooby loves to cuddle with his humans, going on adventures and play play playing. Scooby has the genetics of 2 breeds known for their protective temperaments. Genetics will always play a part in his character, so he will need proper introductions to strangers- especially those entering his territory. Scooby has come a long way learning to trust strangers and disengage but he will need an adopter who is experienced with working breeds. Scooby is NOT a working candidate. He has a lot of environmental sensitivities. He is a big old scardey-cat. His barking may make you think he’s tough, but alas, he is not. He needs someone who will be a fair but gentle leader and who will continue his training with dedication. This boy is smart as a whip if you know how to listen to him and speak to him in a way he understands. Scooby is medium energy and his perfect adopter would be an active person who can take him on many adventures! Scooby would probably be ok with older kids, but he has not been officially tested yet- will update once he is.

Story
Sierra is another one of our embankment mals! She can still be slightly timid with new men, but is very social once she gets to know you! Sierra is a goofy goofy girl with a deformed front leg. That leg doesn’t slow her down one bit! Sierra is still super active and loves going for adventures in the car and on hikes. Sierra is still working on her doggy socialization skills and obedience, but is coming along well. She is crate trained and does walk well on leash. No small animals or dog parks for Sierra.

Story
Donner is another one of the embankment mals puppies! He is crate trained, dog social and working on his obedience training. Donner is the most timid of the embankment mals when it comes to humans and will need a foster/adopter who is calm, patient and prepared to continue his training to build his confidence. He is a goofy, loving and playful boy once he knows you’re a friend and will definitely look to his handler for direction.

Story
𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙄𝙇𝘼𝘽𝙇𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝘼𝘿𝙊𝙋𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉!!! Helllllloooooooo Mushu (D-5751) This handsome, gentleman is only 11 month old. Mushu was surrendered due to owners moving into an apartment. While the previous owner would have loved to make it work, they knew an apartment is not the best place for a young Border Collie. We were told that one of Mushu's favorite games is fetch. He is a bit of a busy body, and likes to work his brain. We were told he is good with people of all ages, other dogs, and very curious of cats. Mushu enjoys all the smells as he sticks his head out the windows during car rides. We were also told that he is already house trained, crate trained and leash trained. Don't sleep on a shelter dog! Come meet Mushu (775)423-2282
