Story
Duke is an 8 year old purebred Australian Cattle Dog. He is up-to-date on all vaccines, neutered, has no known health issues, and recently had a full work-up with clear bloodwork and no heartworm or tick-borne illnesses to speak of. Duke is fully house-trained, knows basic commands and adores people. He loves playing ball and has dabbled in both agility and scent work. He’s truly down for any adventure as long as he gets to be by your side! Duke must be in a dog free and cat free household as he does not get along with other pets. He is currently being fostered by Akron Animal Hospital while he searches for his forever home.

Story
No longer seeing your shadow now that the summer sun has vanished? No worries. Dottie is happy to take that job! She takes her role as canine companion very seriously, and is rarely more than a foot away. She absolutely adores human attention and even gets excited to see the vet. She's yet to meet a person she doesn't like, and is happy to take head scratches and cuddles from anyone. While life in a home is fairly new to her, she's adjusting quickly. She's well on her way to being house broken, and rarely has an accident if kept on a certain schedule. Though the crate isn't her favorite thing, she is doing well in that, too, and has worked her way up to a couple of hours at a time. What she does love about being in a home are the couches and beds. She is already known as a couch potato in her foster home, and sleeps like a rock next to her foster parents at night.    Dottie is in a foster home with both large and small dogs, as well as cats. She gets along with everyone just fine, but doesn't need the companionship of other animals to be happy. She is truly a people dog.    Dottie is on the submissive side, as she's still working through some of the nerves associated with her new-found pet life. She is a follower rather than a leader, but she's gaining more and more confidence each day.    Her ideal family would be with a person or people who are home often, and wouldn't mind letting Dottie continue her shadowing duties. She is a sensitive girl, so absolutely needs an owner who is kind and patient. Aside from that, she doesn't require a whole lot. Just a nice, warm spot on the couch and she'll have hit the jackpot.   If you think you  have the perfect home for her, fill out an application today!   NY AG/MKTS RR363Dottie is being fostered in BuffaloDottie's adoption donation is $600
