Story
Cavatappi was born 5/19/22. She is working on house and leash training. She is crate trained. She is pee pad trained. She LOVES to play with other dogs. The younger the dog, the better. She must have a smaller dog in her new home to excel. Foster home is working hard on socialization with people and new environments. She is the sweetest girl. She is just a puppy that had a tough start but she is making strides in her foster home. She loves treats. Foster mom would love to talk more about Cavatappi. To meet Cavatappi or to speak with her foster mom, please FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html Her adoption fee will be discussed with the adopter when talking with foster mom. Her adoption fee includes her deworming, spay at our vet which is scheduled, vaccines and microchip. *Note: please DO NOT apply if you are unsure about adopting a puppy. Yes, they are adorable and fun, but they also require a lot of work and full commitment by all family members. Thank you! Please remember that we are a board of entirely volunteers that have full time jobs as well as our rescue passion. Shriver is a 2 year old weighing about 30 lbs. He is doing good with house training, crate training and does well with other dogs, cats and older children (11 and over). He is shy and fearful of people grabbing at him but is improving. He would do best in a quiet home without children that will let him slowly adjust at his own pace. His adoption fee is $200.00 which includes his dewormings, neuter, microchip with lifetime registration, vaccinations (DHLPPC, Lyme, Kennel cough and rabies) and heartworm/lyme testing. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lani is a special little girl (lab/mt cur best guess). She weighs 47 lbs. She is house trained, crate trained. She loves to lay in the sun and to roll in the grass. She is very sweet. Walks great on a leash, LOVES to ride in the car. She loves kids but we do not recommend small children as she may knock them down. She does well with other dogs but we recommend dogs over 30 pounds because she plays hard. She was found after apparently being hit by a car at some point and never being treated. Her fractures healed but not properly. She went to Ohio State and had surgery on her jaw. Her neck fracture and leg fracture were healed and Ohio State said they would not recommend any surgery on those fracture. She can only be walked with a harness because of a previous fracture and would not recommend her for a hiker or runner. Her adoption fee is $ 400.00 which includes her spay, microchipping, vaccinations and heartworm/lyme testing. If you want to meet her with hopes to make her part of your family, be sure to FIRST apply on our website for approval: https://www.theroadhomeanimalproject.org/companion-adoption-form-pdf.html *Note: Ideally, ALL members of the family (canine and human alike) should be present for any meet and greet unless otherwise specified/discussed.
